Costco sovereign prices over the past year.

When I visit Costco in Wembley I have a look at their sovereign prices and take a photo. Just been through my phone to see the prices since last February so I thought I'd list them here. I've added the rough spot price for the day of images taken. Didn't want to add all images, only the latest one.

My IT skills aren't that great, apologies for that, so i've taken a shot of the prices on my work screen.

No doubt the people who may be buying these not only have the money, but probably not really sure where else to buy stuff that is probably cheaper😮🤔

Their prices are hit & miss at times as they're usually the highest price then other days much less than most places but never the cheapest.

Trouble is, you go into Costco with the mindset that it’s cheaper than other places on all their stuff, unfortunately not always the case😮🤔

I never knew Costa sold gold . Everyone is getting in on the act now.  Sovereigns and coffee great combination.

Sell anything if they make a quick buck. Obviously thought that with the sort of customers they have then precious metals would be an obvious addition.🤔🤔

They've been selling gold and silver for around 3-4 years in the UK now. The way the prices are going I'd expect them to be selling half sovereigns soon.

Bargain.  Actually that new assistant might pick uk that 1oz Britannia by mistake and charge you for the sovereign 😆

They've been selling kilo silver bars for a while now. I never looked at the price today but I'll have a look next time. Just noticed I did take a picture of the bars. £983.98 with vat.

As someone above said, Costco have been selling bullion for years in the UK, but in the US only since October. Guess they trialled it here in the UK.....
