  1. Thanks for your response. I've been offered it for £410. The plan is to hold on for a while, but I think I'll keeping looking for cleaner sovereign.
  2. Hi, I'm looking to buy this 1885 Melbourne sovereign, but there is oxidised copper on which I'm guessing is from when it was previously mounted. Is it worth buying and can it be cleaned? Image one the tarnish is at 2 o'clock and on the horses tail.
  3. If your not going to spill the beans straight away, at least gives us a clue
  4. Has anyone seen the flash sale on the 2022 gold sovereign at gold bullion.co.uk selling at £398 https://www.thegoldbullion.co.uk/buy-gold-coins/buy-gold-sovereigns/2022-gold-full-sovereign-coin-the-royal-mint/
  5. What does your grading involve and how much is it?
  6. No, I haven't opened it up to check. I will buy an air pump and have a go.
  7. Hi all, I have 2016 Beatrix potter proof 50p. Unfortunately when you look closely there is a small vertical line under the 'I' in Beatrix. Is it still worth grading?
  8. I thought I would share some pics the collection of silver proof 50ps I have purchased for my son
  9. Haha I wouldn't go that far, I have only bought proof sovereigns based on DOB's in my family
  10. Hi everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone on the forum. I have been collecting proof sovereigns over a number of years and I'm now wanting to purchase a few more proof coins and maybe some bullion to add to my collection. Everytime I do my research only about a coin Google always seem to point in the direction of the forum so I thought joining would make things a lot easier and I can always ask any questions that I have now.
