Have we started to see the end of the sub £400 sovereign?

£1828 according to BBP... The march upwards continues, the sub £400 is getting smaller in the rear view mirror.

Picked a sov up this morning from a local dealer at £400 and I actually thought that was a bargain now! 😂

Hard to believe when I was buying at £385 it broke my heart ffs.

I made reference a week ago in the gold thread how I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up seeing sovereigns at half a grand by end of the year.

Just trawled back nearly 10 years to find out how much a sovereign was then.

Yes, TSF has been going for that long. My last Sovereign was from  Harrington & Byrne (2022) at £319, but £400 will also seem cheap, soon enough…..!

Amazing stuff but will be down to the local Offie to grab a bottle in preparation for the down swing now I've added a bit more. Hoping it'll be a celebration though as we hit £2,000 end of the month.

Doesn't matter, these short term swings. Longer term the price trend is still up. And will be with the accelerated devaluation of FIAT

i bought the max of 4 sovs from Harrington & Byrne for £225 each and then got my brother to buy 4 more for me hehe...that was prob 4 or 5 years ago
