You worked hard for your gold, you deserve to do what you want to do!

Good point.

But as an inheritance, Brits are best.

Only advice, whatever you do is the right choice for you.

Technically, alcohol is a solution..

'It [socialism] poses a growing threat, however unintentional, to the freedom of this country, for there is no freedom where the State totally controls the economy. Personal freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t lose one without losing the other.'

"There is no such thing as public money, there is only taxpayers' money"

Let not England forget her precedence of teaching nations how to live.

Nope! I totally disagree!

An inheritance should be difficult to sell, to stay in family as long it is possible!

The old man worked hard to leave something valuable to his children. If the children want to sell, let them struggle a little!😘

@Bogart what's your thoughts on this ?

I think anything above a 100g Bar is going to struggle on here, but then again it's a nice tidy lump you can carry away with you.

Suppose you get the bar and then start collecting the Brits again, i don't think there is much harm in that.

My thoughts same as yours, 100g is big enough. Any bigger and if you need to shift in a hurry may be a problem unless you take a significant hit.

If 1st 65 is set on a bar flog 3 Britannias , buy a 100g bar👍

Thoughts please…I’m considering trading either 8 or 16 gold 1oz Britannia’s for 250gram or 500 gram Gold Metalor Bar. Very conscious that the coins are CGT free whilst the bars are not. Just interested in thoughts. Pics below. And yes - in secure vault.

So you sold the bars to buy the Brits to think about selling the Brits to buy some bars? I've got a hula hoop for sale if you want?😄
