Curious, I hovered over all bids after I posted mine and all except the last (MrEnglishman) showed a timestamp of 19:59, does not change the outcome but they 100% all showed as 19:59

I read the Auction template......and it literally says this.......which I read as 8pm beats 8.01pm.......not 7.59pm beats 8pm. And 8:00:58 is 8pm.

Ending Time and Date: Enter time and date here. Note that The forum will automatically order posts based on who submitted first. Order on this thread is the order of bids. The thread posts contain timestamps and so the final bid during the final minute of the auction will be the winning bid (i.e. the auction ends at 9pm and there are three bids of £20, £22, and then £24 during 9pm and then a bid of £30 at 9.01pm, the winning bid would be the final highest bid during the time stamp of 9pm.)

How I interpreted "auctions ends at precisely 8pm" is as soon as it turns 8pm, the auction finishes. So 59 seconds after 8pm isn't really at 8pm, if it ends at precisely 8pm.

You could contest that bids placed at exactly 20:00:00 should count, but I'd say yours was well out

I will, of course, leave it up to @DuncanWylieWilson to adjudicate, but his instructions (above) override the auction template.  The seller can specify what auction rules they see fit, as long as they do not breach the forum rules.  A template is just a template.
