Apologies to 'Bluemoon' for this digression, but just a quick photo!  - George IV 1829 Bare Head - Marsh 14 and William IV 1832 Marsh 17A (R3) Think I must pre-date your collection.... Paid £225 and £128 respectively in 1997

You may have first refusal when I sell. !! 🤩

Hmm nice!

The sovereign balances aren't that cheap any more either!

Check free postage deal for TSF members.

Could you please expand on this; I have not been in the UK for some time but now I'm back I note some of your premiums are quite competitive.

Please ignore, thread now found.

I've been keeping an eye on these and I don't think they've sold one yet. Not the greatest condition to be fair on most but one has got my interest . Just need to raise funds 😆

I bought three of them, they arrived this morning and there are pictures of them on the 'today I received' page.

The pictures on Atkinsons are generic stock pictures, not the coins you receive I believe

Not the best pictures, just screen grabs from the Today I received page.  These are all Sydney shields I needed for a date run

Thanks - they've got in touch today, two days later.

It's a shame you are not as picky about having a working website!

;)

We are working towards our website being 100% pure gold, but currently it is 99.9%, which works equally well for gold or silver.

For most popular bullion products, they are usually the lowest.

I'm amazed they would use stock photos.

Same, I did hesitate when they came up but somewhere on the advert it does say its not a photo of the actual items.  Took a chance in the end as I have been after these for a while and I had sold a few bits on here this last week and had money burning a hole in my pocket.  Quite please with them.

There is a price difference between them . Maybe the difference is based on condition rather rarity. If I was paying premium prices then the least I'd expect is a decent photo of what i was buying.

Price difference is because of rarity and possibly condition, three I bought were all ones that are hard to find and quite low mintages.  Atkinsons do guarantee any sovereigns to be of a certain quality and never had one from them that I was unhappy with.
