Few pictures from the British Museum Stonehenge exhibition and the Museum of London.

A stunning bronze age piece found a few years ago by a metal detector and a selection of Roman gold coins found over the years at various London sites and a celtic. Well worth a look if you find yourself in town with a few hours to spare.

Fantastic!

First time I've ever seen an image of Vespasian, and strangely enough he kind of looks like the idea I had of him in my head.   Titus is his spitting image too..😂

Got to get a celtic stater for my collection.   Do you know form what period the last 2 celtic coins are from?   Interesting to see the iconography of the man on horse back hunting or slaying a beast has been reused throughout history and predates the myth of George and the Dragon by centuries.  The image of the Thracian horseman has been used from around 300 BC.
