Any Stackers From Portugal?

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

So I'm new on here and have been living in Portugal for a few years. Have been stacking for a little while now but trying to buy bullion here is not easy. There are so few dealers and the prices are high. They tend to concentrate on Portuguese monarchy and collectors pieces, which I'm not really interested in.

I have been buying in Germany, sending the order to family there (as they won't post internationally) and wait for them to visit to bring it with them. So I was wondering if there were any other like minded stackers in Portugal who would like to connect.

If there is please get in touch.

I look forward to being an active member on here now.

Best.

Welcome to TSF I live in Andalusia Spain so not far from Portugal  I use German and Belgian dealers often and they ship with fed ex or ups within three working days how can a delivery coming from Germany to Portugal be classified as international post?

Hello Spanishsilver 👋, Thanks for your message. One of the bullion dealers I use in Germany only ships gold to Portugal (not silver) and the other doesn't ship outside of Germany. Fedex and UPS are two of the worst here in Portugal. I make sure anything I can get shipped here, that they use DHL.

I use auragentum.de  goldsilver.be europeanmint.com for gold and silver delivery to Spain I have never had a problem with a delivery check them out between them they have a lot of choices for bullion I tend to use Auragentum for gold though 👍🏻

Welcome to the forum Organics! I agree with @Spanishsilver. There are many good places in Europe to find bullion for a decent price. All of them will ship abroad and internationally. I used to buy a lot of my coins from the UK, but after Brexit and all custom-charges, import-fees i now have to buy all my coins from Europe and it works fine for me tbh. Although I do mis the good deals on this forum in the -UK for sale- section as the European for sale section is fairly quiet.

Thank you 🙏. Although there is the odd bullion dealer here in Portugal, they have limited stock and what they do have is usually quite expensive. That’s why I found a couple of good dealers in Germany 🙏

Welcome to the forum. In addition to Spanish silvers suggestions, Coininvest post to most EU countries, they have a drop down menu and Portugal is on their list. Same with Silver-to-go which seem to be a related company (maybe another member knows the link between these two companies)

I would trade you some gold coins for a nice old farm place in Portugal. I love the countryside and country! ;)
