Stupid question. What do i need to search online to find a lock box centre? I enquired at a few local places ans the smallest size was the size of a small garden shed lol. Got legal docs that could do with being more secure also.

Also, what is the rent on these for a year?

You should be able to find what you’re looking for searching for private vaulting services. Remember though, depending on value, you’ll likely need additional insurance as well (often possible through the vaulting co. as an extra)

Safe deposit box [place]

Eg... Safedeposit box Edinburgh

https://edinburghsafedeposit.co.uk/

(Not necessarily recommending this company, not one I've used)

A further note... the self store type places usually do not cover cash, bullion, jewellery etc with their insurances. Maybe you could insure them with a 3rd party and use a storage facility like that but an example of one of their insurance terms below... I'd personally stick with purpose built deposit boxes

Lyndhurst Antiques Centre. Having never found/visited a local coin shop, I thought I’d drop in to an antiques shop I’d spotted. Needless to say I’m ditching the family tomorrow afternoon and going back. Loads of coins, medals, silverware, military items (old bomb shell casings etc) to spend a bit of time looking at when I’m in no rush. Didn’t see any sovereigns but lots of Florins, Half Crowns etc to keep me occupied a while

Went back today. Had a mooch for an hour or so. Loads to look at (shillings, crowns, half crowns, medals and plenty I’ve no idea what they were). Sadly the 2 sovereigns were an 1869 shield at £550 (and quite worn) and a 1900 for £500 plus a few halves at £350 each. Made for an enjoyable hours window shopping but will stick to the forum for my gold fix 👍🏼
