Cant take a photo unfortunately, its not carded simply in its plastic capsule. It says one ounce fine silver under the one dollar. Im 99% sure its not a proof.

I bought a Lunar 1 Monkey from the same shop for 25, I know they have other roos there but the guy who runs the shop had the rest of the coins locked in his safe. I am fairly confident that someone has put together a date run of these and then sold them so I will go back down when the guy comes back from holiday. 

 

 

It makes me sad however I had a chat with the guy a few days ago and he told me that he had sent a few Lunar 1 series to the melting pot because he couldn't cover his VAT :/

Try and get the 2007 Bu if its available as that's another rare/expensive one.Good luck with it mate in fact if you can get everything 2007 onwards in the BU for £25 each buy them.

Not really a collector of sorts but as I have the rarest one by issue (I believe) shouldn't be too hard to pick the rest up for a decent price. If I remember correctly the shop I bought it from had 5 or 6 left for sale so it might be the start of something...watch this space haha.

just a heads up, i emailed them and asked for a discount. I got them for 179 euro plus shipping came to 199 all in, so worth giving that a go. 

 

Mintage of 2000 sets, first 1000 only went to armenia, other 1000 was europe only. No other proof noahs arks that i know of.

I also had no idea that they did proof Noah's Arks! That's hell of a premium though - what is the mintage on them? Please post pics when you get them. Fascinated, I'll bet they are gorgeous!

2000 sets mintage sham, 1000 of the sets were only to go to armenia. They obviously didnt sell too well due to the cost hence my cheeky email to them asking for 20 euro off. Maybe i could have asked for more but didnt want to feel like i was taking the pxxx on my first ever order with them.

I like the fact the sets serial number is engraved around the edge of each coin too.

I have about 4 of the Sheffield assay office matte 100g bars, and a few of the Metalor bars too. I like these 100g bars. The Scottsdale ones are nice and are on my purchase list at some point in the future. 10 of each make a nice pyramid.
