Hello I'm new and quite boring

I've been a long time lurker on the Silverbugs subreddit, and have been tinkering with gold and silver over the past 2 years without a plan / clue. 

I have 7 of the 1/4 oz gold Queen's Beasts so far, and around 60 oz of coins that I found interesting (through the European Mint and Silver to Go).

I finally made the jump to joining a proper community after Shadow Stack's last vlog about sources of information, where I ultimately asked myself why I'm not taking precious metals 'seriously'.

Is it a hobby for me? A punt? An inflation hedge or investment for the future? I'm not sure, but hopefully by getting involved with the community I'll find out. I'm 29, so still fairly naive perhaps, but let's see how we get on.

It has definitely been fun so far! What collections did you decide to complete, and which did you abandon?

Silver will be Britannia, Kooks, Koala’s maybe Maple’s, as I like the idea of stuff with the Queens head on being U.K based. Just going to keep a couple of ASE, Panda, Phillies, Krugerrand etc maybe other odd special,  With Gold mainly Sovereigns, undecided on Britannia and I’ve got some fractions of Krugerrand’s and Kangaroos. Anything else will be sold off. As for bars, well safe storage is limited, so yet to fully decide.

What I’m collecting, is really for my kids, started by their grandparents, hopefully they will show interest and follow on at some point.
