Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

Very nice Chris, really liking that coin.

All the high reliefs are really nice. I just hope in years and years time when I have collected a large amount of them that they hold their value.

They are and the 2014 is another beauty,I wonder if RAM are going to continue with the 1oz HR because that mob of Roos is a belter, I'd like them to bring a HR Roo out every year.

The problem with common sense is, its not that common.

I think they will, but really as you are now a collector ;) you get the pleasure of looking at them anytime you want and if they appreciate significantly that's a bonus.

Promo 2013 Panda Medallion (I need to buy the Panda book soon) & no, I don't believe the Kook is one of the 1st 2500 struck.  I wonder how they can make such a claim unless the Perth Mint gave them the coins directly and told them so.

A 'mixed bag' of stuff.

I wonder whether the 2014 1/2oz Koala could be a sleeper.  I'll have to remember to check the final mintage numbers.

I'll be picking quite a few up before it's finished.  I personally think it will do ok.

It is a 1/40 HH  5p coin and weighs 0.8 of a gram, it is the RMs smallest coin to date, but I have to admit it is a bit too small for me, being mainly a 2oz and 10oz fan.
