No There is no claim its nonsense he strings you along saying there is a claim.

I have a contract account with shipping courier. they complete there investigations in eight days

If the recipient had not received the goods they would be one of the first contacted by the courier. The manager at UK Mail told me this.

Keep emailing him with the comment "insurance claim # please."

Unfortunutly Only the shipper can file a claim in Germany.

Wouldn't it be possible to file a report with DHL with the police-report? Maybe they can alert the staff at the office where he sends his packaging to look for dodgy packing (like the taped-over labels).

Andres is back at it calling USA a "fascist clan-infested dumpster."  I told Andres I would send out a blast email to all his clients and tell them about the con jobs and fraud he had committed and his response was 'Why don't you send a blast email out to all of the victims of that vicious con artist who is running your country, until our hero (Robert Mueller) is putting a stop to that criminal bastard before the end of the year."

The German federal police are on it.

Now he’s blaming Trump for the “lost” packages? Now I might have seen it all.

Very sorry to hear about the trouble you guys are having.

It sounds like it is clearly fraud at the source rather than the mailing system.  99%.  An honest source would be doing everything he could to resolve these issues.

Questions, How many members are out of pocket over the years?  What nations were the coins being sent to?  What return address was on the packages?

It is highly likely that the return address is not correct but if it is then this is an important piece of information for the police.  Clearly a complaint needs to be lodged with the German serious fraud squad to investigate this otherwise it will continue.

It all sounds like wishful thinking that the source is even a Dr or that he has a disabled son.  These are classic cover stories that con men tell their marks.

I wish you all the best of luck in resolving this and I reckon the only way you will get any satisfaction is if you contact the serious fraud squad in Germany.

New profile pic to support the current thing, because it's current year.

I'll start with the fake return address on my 4k worth of coins:

         Lamar London

         Postfach 100514

         35335 Giessen

  Tel: 017683386791

To all concerned, I am so sorry and alarmed to hear of your woes with this individual. Thank you for sharing and warning us all. Customer Service is obviously not his forte.

May I suggest that Action Fraud be contacted as well, can be filed online  @Quicksilver. Hopefully in addition to whatever charges he eventually faces they add cyber bullying and other electronic abuses of the (EU) law.

Exactly the same address. Anyone affected by this needs to keep all documents and packaging. Especially any previous order invoices from dios.

? Action fraud took all the details and request that any one else who has been scammed to contact them.

It looks like I cannot file a claim because the fraud occurred outside the EU. I have the USPS working on a claim for months now. Requested a update yesterday. Not holding my breath on a immediate response though.

This is not filing a claim no claim can be made, This is about stopping him  as everything is pointing towards him not putting the coins in there to begin with.

How has the fraud been committed outside the EU if the business is registered within the EU

Also did you not pay the money to a EU account.

You can report it online,

This is the way I look at it.

If we stop others getting the same experience its a positive result. Also the authorities should take action if people report it.

I must say the guy on the phone today was great. @BackyardBullion offerd to do a video for his channel.

Another forum member is doing a video for youtube and other sites.

So he should get maximum exposure on how he operates.

I don't think that number is good. Since it is missing the country code +49 for germany

I originally tried to pre-order my Endeavor proofs from Dios.  Reading all of this I feel like I dodged a bullet.  When I placed my order I got 3 different "confirmation" emails from 2 different addresses all basically saying I would get additional instructions soon and listing various potential payment options- lots of red flags.  Then I got a final email that the order wouldn't be filled as they had run out of stock.  Thankfully I never actually paid him, the whole thing seemed super shady.

I will say that while DHL is my last choice of carriers usually, I have never had major issues yet.  I'm in the US and have ordered and also shipped a good deal of coins from overseas, including Germany, fairly regularly from large and small dealers and to this point have not had issues with customs in Germany or any other country.  I suppose it's always a risk, but with so many people reporting similar experiences, the "colorful" emails, and several people receiving the same German coin book that mysteriously weighs the same as their coins did, it's pretty clear who is to blame.

There is no way I can bring myself to believe that so many thefts are happening in customs in so many places just to this one shipper, who conveniently is the only one who can file a claim, let alone that so many customs thieves happen to stock pile those books, apparently.

Love the idea of a YouTube expose if @BackyardBullion or anyone follow up with that.  Please feel free to send the links and I'll be glad to share them around and spread the word.

Good luck to everyone that lost out from this guy, I truly hope justice is done.

Some background how German customs usually working

The people working in customs in Germany having a similiar status to people working at Police in Germany. I have never heard about issues on stolen things by customs in Germany. They are belong to public sector and they are typical "German" correct in their work.

If Germans export something to other countries (as it sounds in your cases), they usually never open or check parcels when they are leaving Germany. I don't know any reason why they should do so.

If you declare export to customs either they will check randomly the items before you close the parcel directly at your company or you have to go to their offices and show the items you would like to export. Then you got export papers and customs work has been done - so no need to open parcels at airport or border.

If you want to import something to Germany the customs will open parcels on a regular basis to make their controls. This is necessary to check correct documents for customs duty or VAT.

Anyone want to look at this tracking info I have from my package of coins that turned out to be a German coin book. First Andres thought the delay from 12/15/2017 happened it German customs now Andres says it happened US customs. Considering both myself and Quicksilver got the same book it didn’t happen in US customs. More than likely in happened in Andres back room. I supposed there is a chance German customs could be involved as well. Unless of course the eight day delay could be the norm. Thanks
