    1888 Mexico 8 Reales - it’s had a life and is complete with ‘chop’ marks made mostly by Chinese merchants.
    I’d like to research these further if anyone can help. If only coins could talk, this has certainly changed hands a lot over the years.
    Oddly, one of the chop marks looks like the ‘@‘ symbol.

    Which makes me wonder, what would your job title be as the person to authenticate each coin.
    Ring tester?
