I mean it was a sensible prediction when you made it about two weeks ago , but seriously who would’ve thought gold would be nearly £1600 an ounce in August 2020 .

I stick to the line 'it is all media fluff', brush it off and put my head back in the Telegraph when Mrs Dicker mentions the price of gold in GBP.  Lovely wife, but boy does she want some new garden furniture which looks just like the set we already have.....

I wouldn't get too attached to the charts right now when the market is so volatile and there is a high probability that the price moves in a wide enough range to satisfy both bulls and bears!
Charts aren't infallible; only a few days ago I believe you were predicting a pullback which never materialised..

only "Furniture"! consider yourself Lucky - its just cost me 4k for a patio down the side of the house just to keep my "Brownie points" at an adequate level!

My wife wants rid of ours cos its too big....cost me a bomb second hand, hand mosaic, cast aluminum, sunbrella fabric but the missus wants sonething smaller so she can complain how small it is....lol.

MSM sounding like they are trying to put off the public from dipping a toe in the water.
Collegue did however say “I’m trying to find an entry point in any asset class at the moment”.

Yeah the %50 discount is crazy , my girlfriend and I had a main course and a pint each at the airport and the bill was £21 only 🤣
