Here's a money making opportunity if I've ever seen one.  Even if you knocked 250 -300 USD off that seller's asking price that'd still be a decent bit of coin in your pocket for virtually no effort.  Beautiful coin btw.  I have the 1918-I so the thought crossed my mind to collect all the Indian Sovs until I saw what some of these are going for since the 2013 release 

Just Arrived after a very long wait

Just went to the post office, guy asked me what I was posting, I said a collectible coin
Him: Oh what Type
Me:  a sovereign
Him: Oh I bought a proof sovereign earlier this year
Me: Oh was it the 2017 proof 1817 design with the garter belt?
Him: Hmm I think so yes, it was £700
Me: Ahh, so you didn't get it directly from the Royal Mint
Him: No I got it from  _______ (I think he said *something* collection), how much was it from the Royal Mint directly?
Me: £430
Him: *under his breath* bastard.... 
lol
I said it's selling on Ebay for £800 or so and I'm sure it will go up in the coming years

2017 Britannia three coin premium gold set  This is the first time I have opened gold coins without being a little excited by the contents.
I must be honest they don't look any better when you see them in-front of you. My only thought at the time was its a nice chunk of gold.
The positive is they are in good condition and the box didn't turn up looking like it was kicked from llantrisant to my doorstep
 


 
 
 

Late to the party, but I am HIGHLY delighted with the quality and condition of these coins and the packaging if only everything we received through the letterbox was as nice as these.  WOW!

SOTD 2017 BU came today but there's a small mark under G&D 
Looked like a production error, annoying and not ideal but I was willing to look past it, but upon taking the capsule lid off to have a better look there's also a scratch close to it
Very disappointing considering how much it costs that it isn't perfect, will have to speak to Chards I guess  
 
 
 

I just got one, wasn't too much of a premium and something a bit more interesting having the mint mark 
@westminstrel only RMB have got back to me, they said 
"We do not provide mintages as bullion is for investment therefore we are able to product more if there is high demand.
For the Indian Sovereigns there is an unlimited mintage.
Probably just a customer service employee with no idea about anything just replying off the top of their head though.

Today was a good day!

Expanding the collection today with some recent Proof Libertads (2013 + 2014 + 2015) and the 1986 proof Libertad in box and with COA. 
Also 3 new boxes and some other BU coins. Started finally with the Year of the Rooster set also. 
My Britannia 2017 1/4 OZ gold didn't arrive today, i expect him to be here tomorrow. But already a pretty good day today!  

Here are the figures I managed to get from Stock Holding India.
2014 - 60,471
2015 - 64,500
2016 - 45,000
The 2014 Half Sovereign was 62,000.
For the 2013, there's some confusion because initially there were supposed to be 50,000 minted but apparently this wasn't the case in the end.
@Kman, I'm hoping these figures can be corroborated (or refuted) by any responses you get.

Finally received my two quintuple sovereigns. This time double bubble envelopes as packaging.

Came in a nice paper envelope as usual from the royalmint.

My view is from the working man who does not have the time to care about art, but knows a good coin when they see it, the 2017 Britannia is not and never will be a good coin, I respect numistackers view but disagree
