  1. These arrived today and I am linking them the more I see. Also COA 1👍
  2. They just make it up as they go along, part of the on job “training”
  3. Why are they allowing 2 per order of the 1oz silver when there is this demand?
  4. FFS , I hope you sent that back. The premiums they charge recently are steep, we should expect and receive A1. Perth Mint can do better with their bullion releases.
  5. So 500 graded at PF70. Most are “first release”!and they want an extra grand for one of first 100 struck. What an absolute swizz. I can see them bring out “the first struck” coin for an extra $5k.

    1/10th coin run.

Hehe, in fairness I think it was a few years ago it was posted so spot was about half what it is today. Still some paper round to amass those.
  7. Stu

    1/10th coin run.

this guys quite funny, without trying to be me thinks. Some are not strictly tenths but worth a watch.
  8. Nice to see they are holding back on new releases given the disarray the “organisation” is currently in. Personally, I think they should stick to minting bullion sovs for the next year and get their act together. (And change the damn alloy come to think of it) bloody mint😄
  9. I was never a fan of your recycled toilet paper😄
  10. Ah yes, think was the America the Beautiful now you come to mention it.
  11. Has there ever been a coin series so large before? I know there has been sets before with multiple coins and the Perth mint lunar series that went on to the third series but has there been a pre planned coin series of this size before? When the Royal Mint can abandon their lunar series half way through, I am not sure this has much legs particularity with all the denominations and sizes, pre grades etc. I think the mint have fecked up big time, particularly as they struggling to fulfil other others they are releasing simultaneously I don’t see this going past coin, but I could be well wrong.
  12. I know Russia is on a tight spot but I really can’t imagine them giving their gold away like you describe, given the deliberate strategy to accumulate over recent years and in times of sanctions. More likely they would sell Migs etc at discounted rates, or football clubs😄
  13. STG were the go to silver dealers when I started stacking and the forum was in its infancy. From what I mind , you could get silver for around £12 delivered in 2014:15? Sounds like a bargain, which it is, however silver has a long way to go yet imo. Just glad I discovered it then and not 2011 when at major highs.
  14. 50k on hookers and cocaine, then do something frivolous with the rest😄 I wouldn’t draw down unless you have a strong proposition mate. I was considering drawing from my mortgage to get a wind turbine. Reckon it would pay for itself in around 8 years, especially if fuel prices keep going up. I’m really on the fence, especially as noticed the early repayment charge on the new mortgage offer sits at 5% for the 5 year term. Always check the details.
  15. I saw the Krugerrand did a special proof set recently which had amongst others a 1/50 Troy oz gold coin which is close to half a gram I believe? Not sure you could see it without a magnifier however. I don’t mind the 1/10. Much has been said in the earlier posts, they hold their premium, very liquid and there is a lot of variety.
  16. Would save an awful lot of trouble. Cut out the middleman, straight back to the melting pot.
  17. Very close to the psychological $2000 now, before the day is out? I dont think they can keep a lid on it now. Just when I was considering selling a few oz,
  18. I’ll start at£5 for the wine.👍
  19. Russia and China like with most things, keep a veil of secretcy around their gold holdings. The only thing all are in agreement to is they are under declaring what they hold, for obvious reasons I would suggest. backing your currency with gold , or anything is tangible beats the fiat c**p system we currently have. Unfortunately the states lead this with all the deception it entails.
  20. Did they go out of stock after they re-listed them?
  21. Did you get any replacements first? I have one replacement, still with minor flaw. Might phone and try get them to commit to restrike also!
  22. Did you order your Henry VII on release? I ordered mine the other day and they should be landing today. I agree, they have too much to contend with ATM.
  23. A lot of coins given one auction house and total mintage numbers. Plain edge not striding ahead at this early stage either. I thought sellars would wait to sell as a pair with the portrait on the whole. (Unless they can’t get the portrait at a price they would like) or not deep enough pockets
