Awesome, I just realised there is another way to upload photos. Need to click on "More Reply Options" on the bottom right, and then can upload and then "add to post" photos that you want.

I am currently unable to take any photos of any of my coins or bars as I am not currently at the same location my stack is (will hopefully be able to take some photos within the next few months) so if anyone else has any photos to share please do

First post. Just joined the forum. Have been a regular purchaser from multiple UK dealers (some good some bad) of gold, silver and rhodium for many years (and a periodic seller) but somehow didn't find this forum for all this time! Had a brief pause in buying but Brexit has really inspired me to start up my stacking again. I am of the opinion that 2019 will be a great year for gold. My reasoning for this is: Crypto bubble has popped, house prices in UK and US are floundering, people are panicking about holding sterling / euro and stocks are seeing much greater volatility. All are good for gold. I wouldn't be selling now... In fact I'm buying. Anyway, just thought I'd introduce myself.

The OP is getting a hard time - and some good advice - which i agree with! But i think he has just got into gold at the wrong time in his life and i agree with him buying his first house is more important than holding gold (for him).
For me uncertain times makes me want to buy more gold! Assets rise and fall, the hope is if your diverse then if one thing is falling HOPEFULLY another is rising!
Good luck with your future investments, perhaps one day you will decide to diversify back into PMs.

I ask because I'm in my 6th decade of life and I don't know what is around the corner. 
I always read 'for the long term' or 'for my kids' yet it's alien to me. I haven't had that option.
Wait. What? Gold has been available for ever so why are people stacking 'for the long term' now when there wasn't that option before?
It seems that silver and gold have become the greatest asset class available. Well, since 2011 that is.
Don't give your kids gold. They know less what to do with it than you do. Should they leave it to their kids?
Use your gold. Buy bricks and mortar and land when everyone else has to sell. Spend it when it's most wanted.
As for inheritance, don't die a rich man. 😉

Waiting for a 1918i Sovereign is like waiting for a bus- two arriving at the same time.  Thanks to both @Elements & @jultorsk for nudging me in the right direction. The PCGS MS64 is clearly the winner here, bought from Jon Blyth  via eBay auction but the raw one is a very nice looking Uncirculated Sovereign.

Got this today, have been waiting a while & seeing them sell for £650+ I managed to snag it for £400+ 27%
It looks to have a print on it but it will be going off to NCS once I have it
