Hello dear friends of silver. I would never have believed that this inconspicuous little coin would have such a career. The Czech lion as the first issue of 2017, minted by the Pressburg Mint in Bratislava. The series is still minted today with changing motifs. So I'll keep an eye on it myself. Sometimes you get lucky with your collecting. Have a nice day and greetings from Maxe.

So I bought a few bullion sovs and a rockinghorse crown, plus a 2005 OzSov that was in with some bullion.  
1855 Shield
VF grade or thereabouts, not bad condition cosmetically.  This was the pick of the bunch.

Dear friends, I absolutely had to have this coin in my collection. A magnificent piece in my eyes. Greetings from Maxe.

Something not really seen and not much info out there about this medal.
Sterling silver (hallmarked) medal celebrating the 5th anniversary of independence of president l.m.mangope of South Africa 🇿🇦. 
The only info I could find is pictured below.
38.3mm width & 35.1g of hallmarked sterling silver.  To the naked eye looks to be in great condition, very minimal wear on the high points.
