closed South African 1982 sterling medal, president l.m.mangope

Something not really seen and not much info out there about this medal.

Sterling silver (hallmarked) medal celebrating the 5th anniversary of independence of president l.m.mangope of South Africa 🇿🇦. 

The only info I could find is pictured below.

38.3mm width & 35.1g of hallmarked sterling silver.  To the naked eye looks to be in great condition, very minimal wear on the high points.
