Very Nice. Had my eye on that too, but decided to bid for the 1902 Crown instead.
 

1/4 oz Queens Beast Griffin in perfect condition

Interesting set of God of Wealth/Monkey 5g silver notes.  No idea where it comes from so will have to get my parents to translate some of the writing.  Outer sleeve and then a book holding the notes.

Can successfully call it a day now. Just closed on an auction for a 2015 PF70 silver proof  Britannia, 1 ounce. I have both 2014 and a 2015 now as PF70 1oz, and both of the big boxed 5 ouncers, so a little series developing. Obviously the 2014 is the standout - but 2015 design is growing on me. 
Really need to stop buying silver and get back to the gold stuff soon though!?

2012 proof brit .

Today my French lunar rooster finally arrived.
Can anyone shed any light on this French series as I think I've completed the series. 2006 when I think it started was BU with a mintage of 10,000. Around halfway through the series it went to proof at 10,000 mintage then dropped to 5,000 mintage at proof.
It seems like a strange way to run a series and it'll be interesting to see what they do next year.

3 Coin 2017 Sovereign set from the Royal Mint.  Came yesterday but I missed the delivery by 10 mins so had to collect this morning.  I've included a pic of the 3 coins with a normal sovereign and also overlaid the normal sovereign over the 2017 double.  I think the double shows off the design best due to the garter reducing the size of G&D.
