Just grabbed 10 X 1oz gold Britannia from Hatton Garden.
7.5oz gold to go until end target.

The Bentley collection book is a compilation of the 3 auctions, including other interesting facts and Appendices including realised prices, die number tables etc. Approx 450 pages, a true monster and a must have record!

Received today from HGM. As usual, bought them before the recent dip.

Saw this on the Atkinsons site and took a punt, 1996 half sov, (proof obviously). No Box or COA, bullion price. Could have been worse nick.
 

I couldn't wait for this one to arrive.  Pre-ordered from Atkinsons.  Extremely pleased to own it.

A bit of a long winded one with a bargain at the end.
I spotted a "Centenary of Winston Churchill - This Was Their Finest Hour" Gold 2 X Medallion Set by Christopher Ironside on ebay @ £570

Coin details : 1 X 17.5g + 1 X 3.5g made from 900 gold (stamped on the coins too) so fine weight = 18.9g, however as they are produced outside the UK they are listed as 18ct.
After a little searching for a price check I notice Chards had a 2 coin set and a 3 coin set listed as 18ct.
So basically got the the two sets with a fine weight of 2.66oz for a total of £1.72 over spot for the lot

The Platinum Wedding Anniversary 2017 Strike On The Day Sovereign from the Royal Mint using my interest free payment account , that's my 2017  sovereign set complete . . just hope its in good condition

Tidy business live at auction this weekend. A total of 6 full sovereigns - four Vics (average of £279 each for an 1871 shield, 1875 M, 1888 S Jubilee Head, 1900 old head), the bullion 2017 (always fancied one - but missed out until today) and finally - a 2017 proof Sov ?. Paid £680 for that proof - but its in good shape and frankly i don’t see it getting cheaper anytime soon.  Of course i should have bought it straight away from the Mint for was it £525? But hindsight is easy.   
Of the Vics - i needed a Jubilee Head for my type set, and the 1871 London Shield Back Die 7 is probably the pick of the bunch.  I have never graded a bullion sov in my life - but can you Sovereign guys estimate the potential NGC grade (AU58?). 
Other major win was a boxed proof 2017 silver Krugerrand - along with some other silver bullion (including some pre-47 UK and US ) and one of those weird Tristan Da Cunha proof silver coins all for £111.  Wanted that silver proof Krug after seeing many here getting them....but never fancied paying the crazy prices.  Reckon that was a real bargain, and it is a stunning piece. Finally  - if anyone can give me any info on the TDC £1 0.925 silver proof 100th anniversary of the House of Windsor .... i would appreciate it. I cannot find anything about it - but it is claimed to be 0.925 silver.  
 

Just won a 2002 proof half sovereign on an auction site, looks good in the photos, seller said it's good, just keeping it all crossed that it is.
It will fit in nice with the 2 half sovs I got during the week. Lovely jubbly!

A 1/10 oz Krugerrand and 3 empty silver Britannia tubes - which I hope to fill this year!
