Aye, you got the wrong frog! 🐸
My meme game isn't the best.
As for gold, I'm thinking we finally pass £2k this week! Also think we see a sub 50:1 silver ratio this year

That’s great memories as long as you supported the right team…
I was in one of the poorest parts of the midlands and too young or stupid to understand that Stenhousemuir (and other "exotic" names) were actual places. I just vividly remember my Irish grandad did the pools and just sat there effing and blinding at the tv.

Stenhousemuir - a name stuck in my head from being forced to sit through James Alexander Gordon reading the classified football results every Saturday afternoon at my grandparents' house in the 80s. Nostalgic times now that I'm. grumpy middle-aged sod. I should visit one day 😅

I know many of us here are big fans of her, so I can see the appeal of this selling point.
Is this serious? Sorry, I don't know who she is so it's a genuine question! I'd imagine it's sarcastic but you never know..
As for the description, it does indeed feel like they're pushing the boundaries of truth.

Eee... I remember the days when you could buy a kilo of gold for two shillings, and you'd still have change for the bus fare home... 🤣
More seriously, or perhaps not, who is brave enough to predict if / when the £2k ceiling will be broken?
Tomorrow! 2K+ for the weekend.

All gone now. Congrats to the 6 people in the world who own this coin
I just spotted your post and impulsively went for it - mainly because I own a 1/4 and really like the design so it'll be nice to have a bigger version. Not sure if I ordered the last one but just wanted to say thanks for the heads up.. 👍
Also, only just spotted after the fact that there's a working voucher code for free delivery so I could have saved myself 9 quid! Ah well. Not sure if I'm allowed to post it but feel free to PM me if anyone else is making a purchase.

If it dips back to sub £1600 I'm going all in. Been lining up my chips for a while to make sure I'm ready will definitely pull the trigger on a 1/40oz Brit - don't want to be paying CGT if I have to move it on later.

If you removed the word “Royal” from the brand, they’d just be another mint, invested in little more than profiteering from those that know no better. Argument can be made that whilst you have those willing to pay whatever price is asked, there’s a market for the mint to sell to but if you take a step back, what do you really get from them that you don’t get elsewhere? Quality control? Behave yourself. Top quality silver? There’s more milking at Royal Mint than a dairy. It’s just not worth buying from them directly and paying the premiums
I feel like you've been a little unfair. I've never had a customer service experience quite like the RM before. I ordered 2 gold bars and only had to wait nearly 3 months for them to arrive, with absolutely no updates as to why my order had been delayed, until I wrote to them a couple of times. Where else can you get service like that?

That's a load of rubbish, otherwise I'd despise a significant number of fine women.
