I signed up to the forum last week in the hope to gain some knowledge on stacking and possibly make some purchases along the way! 
I must say I am very impressed with what I have seen so far, everyone seems very friendly and helpful.
I started collecting about a month ago. I have a tiny stack so far (1 gram gold bar, 1 silver britannia and a couple of small silver bars) and I am looking to build a portfolio over time to preserve wealth and sell when i retire or pass on to my nippers.
Anyway im rambling, its a pleasure to be here and look forward to joining in more as time goes on!

Hello I'm a Stacker and Collector from the Channel Islands I adore Gold and silver and of course some Platinum, I have been stacking and collecting for nearly 4 years now.
Previously I was into buying & collecting gemstones from auctions which I did for about a year and a bit it, which I still have.
I have always been fascinated by how the earth has so many amazing minerals which we can mine ourselves, the geological history of the earth really facinates me.
All I watch on YouTube is anything related with Gold, Silver, Mining shows, Prospectors, Podcasts & Financial Videos 😂 
I am also a volunteer Acheologist 
I have very little confidence so I don't have a youtube or anything 😄 but I have an instergram page @Guernsey_Bullion_Stacker. If you would like to follow me that would be awesome.. my goal is to hopefully get to the stage where i can start making content on diffrent platforms.
I am also aiming in the future to open up my own Bullion & Collectables Buisness in the Channel Islands with my partner and not just buy and sell bullion but also help people get a better understanding about gold and silver.

my story, 
actually i know about gold and silver from long time ago 
but dont have money to buy gold or silver !!!!!
recently i had some money so i buy silver bar
thats amazing i always greet myself on making this choice
i loved what i did so much 
even if silver didnt rise in price i will never regret doing this !!!
becoz it is old dream to me to get silver bar! but i couldnt do that!
they are so cute indeed!!!

Just revisiting this post and the whole reason I wrote it in the first place. Happy birthday to the woman who indirectly lead me to my present day admiration of silver. My grandma is 101 (Dec24) and still going strong!

Nothing too interesting for me, but I do come from a family where saving or investing is enouraged. It would mainly take the form of land in my culture or gold, but a pleb like me can't afford much of either xD so silver and crypto are main investments. Entering the work force a few years before I realised I cannot let my money sit in a bank and depreciate, especially with the economic instability around the world. People like me in the 18-30 age bracket can't look forward to a steady employment and pay until retirement so I will have to do what I can so I don't find myself 65 with barely anything to my name.
So bullion is a excellent way for me to hedge against inflation

Update
I just wanted to update on my draw. Due to the passing of my mother last week I will be putting this back to new years eve. Apologise for this but not really in the right head space currently to be organising as this is cross platform and there are alot of names ect.
I will leave the draw open till New years eve at 5pm
