  1. They are cheap, but the reviews are bad... I never saw a webshop with so many customer complaints before.
  2. I already have a bunch of Google Sheets I am just going to add gold to them too now. I looked into silver because everyone is talking about the gold/silver ratio being favorable for silver. I guess I shouldn't have overlooked gold.
  3. The Sovereigns are difficult to find in my country, but I assume the gold coin with lowest premium will do? I started to read more about gold as well.
  4. That is a very intestering topic! Thank you for sharing it with me. You are also the first one to share his first experience with buying silver. The whole market seems a little bit overwhelming to me. There are so many things to learn still.
  5. You just taught me about milk spots being a thing 😅 I came across perth mint a lot. I have to say I am not a huge fan of the lunar serie though.
  6. All local silver and gold shops, coin shops and even a few online coin shops (in the Netherlands and Germany) only seem to purchase coins slightly under spot. I have been making a lot of inquiries everywhere 😅 The shops do seem to offer worse prices than collectors though. From what I see here on the forum, people pay a much more realistic price.
  7. Thank you Stefan! That is very helpful advice
  8. I have been researching silver coin prices for multiple brands for a few days now. To me it seems that some silver coins are worth a higher premium, because they will likely also sell above spot price. Maple leafs, Brittania, Philharmoniks seem to have the best deal, because these coins have the lowest premiums... However when I look at selling these coins, they always go below spot price. Which is the case for most silver of course. These brands give me the impression that it is just a matter of stacking them en selling them when the price of silver goes up. I also came across a few others brands which seem to be worth a higher premium, because they are more desirable or part of a collection. For example Kookaburra. A lot of people seem to collect every year of this coin. Older years of this coin seem to sell for an even larger premium. Please keep in mind that I am very new (I might be completely wrong) and I researched the prices in my country, which might differentiate from the prices in other countries. However what I would like to know... Which silver coin (brands) could possible be a better investment and are worth a higher premium, because they will likely also sell for a higher price.
  9. Thank you all for the warm welcomes
  10. Hi everyone! I am very new, but also very enthusiast about all the new things I am learning. I am mostly gathering information at this point and thinking about what I want to do for my first purchase. Does anyone here remember the thrill of their first purchase? Feel free to share stories! I would really enjoy finding some people to talk to, I hope I came to the right place for that
