I would have thought if the market was strong for these then the first 100 would have been selling for over £999 right now. Considering if they are £800-£850 roughly just now. The market will be flooded with resellers when theres another 900 going about?
i think as you say the good thing will be if a lot of people miss out on the rm variant. If rm up the mintage heavily but i think there could be some people upset they have 2oz of silver they paid. £999 for.
However, we are in the land of funny money these days. What happens will probably always be the opposite of what I think

They aren’t achieving more than £999 precisely because everyone knows there are still 900 to be released at £999 so, for now, there is a solid cap on the first 100.

live listings have gone up
x15 Three Graces now available in various formats on FleaBay UK on Buy It Now and Auction formats
Add the completed transactions already done on ebay sales via buy it now & best offer
Gets to nearly a quarter(25%) of the initial offers used for flipping
add how many of this first 25% bought x2, flipping on and keeping the other ??
Add what we have hooked here on the forum, correct me if i'm wrong but don't think anyone here has flipped anything as yet ??
Wonder what's going to happen on how the remaining x900 Alderneys and how they are going to be released ?
x100 at a time weekly ? all x900 go live at once ? the x900 £999 RRPs 'majority' held back until RM official Three Graces release/sell outs
Certainly an interesting marketing strategy, interesting following things

The new normal is that nothing’s normal anymore!

We just all turn up at the Royal Mint Experience outside Cardiff in Wales from the stroke of midnight and form a socially distancing queue. You can always tell the first timers who ask you to look after their space while they go to the toilet. Once they leave we all move up in the queue and we get the coins and they don’t.
Joking apart, you just see a progress bar which gives you an idea how long you can expect to get on the website.

I appreciate this is the silver thread but I know that 400 Alderney gold Una’s were minted and 389 of them graded PR70. Maybe the canny investor should shop around for one of the 11 coins that achieved a rarer grade? 😜

Any restrictions should be under the details, you might have to click the "Learn More" button if there is one. I don't have the offer here so am unable to check myself.
EDIT: After looking at the image the link "T&C's Apply" might be where you can find out.

That might not include coins/bullion though. They typically leave that out for similar promotions on US ebay which is always a bummer. Must be one of their most profitable categories.

Gypsy reacted to Oldun in 2020 Alderney Three Graces Silver Proof 2oz
At the end of the day, there are only 1,000 of these coins in total. That is a small mintage any way you look at it with a huge collector base for this design. And £499 for a PF70 may not be too much. The real test will be seen much later down the road as Paul suggested.

Looks like one just sold but can't see the best offer price that was accepted.
Couldn't make up my mind on this one and wound up passing but don't feel great about it now, haha. Just a few things threw me off, I don't like that they are all 70's for instance.
I'm in the US too so the added cost of shipping and exchange rates put it about 100pounds out of my price range. Probably should have grabbed one and given myself another week or so to think about it.
EDIT: And another one just sold for 850pounds.

Has someone informations about which day sale starts at RM? With this sold-out-thing-in-seconds its pretty difficult to me. Sometimes i really have to work, so i still can war something and live my Passion of collecting beautiful coins. Don't want to work for crazy secondary market premiums.
By the way, i try my best, but my english is still terrible. Sorry for that

This was one of my thoughts about not ramping up prices and mintages. I’d imagine the buzz on secondary market brings them a lot of new customers.
And a quick browse on Fleabay:

The RM coins will all be raw and they wont be inflating the cost out of line of other coins. They know how much the exposure is worth to the brand overall, coins like this bring new collectors into the market. I am very confident they will stick to a consistent strategy on this one.

Oh sure but I wonderhow many would have been created in total for 1,000 to be graded PF70 ? 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, 10,000 ? Who knows. Would love to know but never will.
