  1. Any idea on the release of the Perth Mint Rabbits?
  2. Seems like the the problems at the royal mint quality control dept. have been solved !!! They keep selling but just stopped making their expensive TAT !!! CLASSIC royal mint.
  3. Lawrence must have one of these machines in his basement. Just load up a hold all and swing round to his gaff and get them tested by a pro. Each coin only takes a second or two for piece of mind!
  4. Royal Australian Mint, Perth Mint and Germania Mint would be a good start. Stay well clear of the royal mint huge premiums for substandard quality and poor design.
  5. What would a Backgammon set cost with a suitable storage tray underneath?
  6. I'm a fan of Perth Mint but this whole series has so far has been of no great interest to me whatsoever. Well produced but in the same design category as their silver Tiger III. Poor/Fair.
  7. That would be the still frozen ones then! The cold ones are often the ones from last week that the dog refused to eat!
  8. One of BYB group order you tube unboxings would be a great start.
  9. I would buy the £5 coin and sit on it. Then go for more bulk bullion or auction buys.
  10. Ohh. I will have to take a another look at my I sovereign. I really do prefer the gold colour to the copper coloured ones.
  11. I remember seeing a Pacific sovereign at some point too.
  12. IMHO i don't think that these errors are accidental in nature. When an error is make it always makes headline news and the result is free publicity for the rm!
  13. One of the £20 for £20 coins by the rm did look a whole lot like a silver sovereign. I think it was the first one in the series 2013.
  14. Rm strike again. What a hellish looking coin. He certainly deserves better that this! At a quick glance it looks like hooped earrings! Hahahahaha
  15. All my usual on-line retailers are out of stock. So some folk must have bought 'em all up. @LawrenceChard might have missed the boat on this one. That boat has already left port and been involved in a strange boating accident!
  16. sorry! yes i'm looking at this year. 2022
  17. Been looking at getting a couple of quarter sovereigns, but i can't seem to find any! Have the rm stopped producing the BU?
  18. More of the same sub-standard work that some people have come to expect for the royal 'lazy' mint. We really are in the lost years for the royal mint! Without proper significant investment in quality designers, production and quality it's hard to see a way back.
  19. I still buy silver for collections and ongoing series that i like. I nolonger buy the 100oz+ bullion stacking silver every year that i would have though. Maybe as a well known and trusted supplier @LawrenceChard sells a good number of bullion oz's but i do think that a swing has started to shift in favour of Gold / old numi coins. I have a great liking for silver but i really can't see the new Stackers and collectors of the future that do research into precious metals thinking that silver is viable investment.
  20. Yeah that is the very coin. 3oz silver i think, awesome tech and part of a 5 coin set. Could well be what the @Nortypeter is looking for.
  21. A recent @BackyardBullion you tube shows a new pre-release coloured coin from @PowerCoin . An Italian outfit for Rome i believe. The coin imho is a good example of where modern mints are using Hi-tech to create some beautiful high-end coins and rounds.
  22. With ultra high premiums on silver and 20% TAX on silver in the UK has silver stacking become a thing of the past?
  23. So it,s 925 sterling for durability and the correct size for the standard 500g jar. Is there any sort of marmite engraving on th top?
  24. Have the prices held up over time?
