Entered the code, hit 'Apply' and it didn't populate anything (tried on basket page, and checkout page). This was against a bullion order for a 1/10 gold brit.

It won't work on investment items. It should work for any product that has a fixed price that isn't dependent on the fluctuating value of the metal.

I can confirm that the code - ENJOY10 - which I saw on TSF via @silverJEF did work on my 1/10oz gold brit order.
