closed Wanted: Russian or Ukrainian coins from 1990

Recommended Posts

Evening Silver Forum Members,

I'm looking for coins from Russia or Ukraine from the year 1990. Do any of you have any? With a CoA is helpful but not essential.

I have found one coin on eBay, the "1990 Russia 1 Rouble '125th Anniversary of the Birth of Janis Rainis' Coin" and am open to purchasing from members but I was more looking for silver bullion, if they exist.

Any advice on my search will be appreciated.

Thank you for the tags, gentlemen!

I do not have any such gold coins from Ukraine or Russia from the 1990s. I typically deal in earlier coinage.

I do, however, have a couple of lovely Soviet-era Chervonetz gold coins slabbed by NGC...

@Solachesis lovely coins indeed! I'm looking for a silver 1oz coin or a coin of the year 1990 from the USSR.

I might only have a 2018 3 RUB silver coin available. I'll check the stack later and will let you know via PM :)

User @paulmerton migh have some if I'm not mistaken? If I am, I'll find the user that might have them :)

Thanks for the tag @modofantasma!

Just learned from @sellerstacker that this should have been titled "USSR/CCCP" coins :) need to read a bit more before I publish ;)

Yes, the Russian Federation came into being at the end of 1991. Dates:

Soviet Union 30 December 1922

• Declaration of State Sovereignty 12 June 1990 (but still USSR technically, transition period)

• Russian Federation 12 December 1991
