Cheapest place to get a full sovereign £382?

Recommended Posts

I have noticed that the prices for sovereigns is getting rather cheaper at the moment (than have been in a good few months) at places like Hatton Garden Metals… anyone else finding better deals? I recall there was a page with the lowest prices on sovereigns list on TSF. @ChrisSilver can you give guidance on where I may find this page location please. :)

If you press the three lines along from The Silver Forum title it will bring up a list, press compare, then UK if presumably you are in the UK, the compare site is extremely useful but does not cover all sites, it's still worth looking around yourself as company's do special offers which aren't always picked up, for instance Bleyer Bullion currently have best value Sovereigns for £374 with free delivery.

https://www.bleyerbullion.co.uk/shop/gold/full-uk-gold-sovereign-pre-owned/?vgo_ee=6o1Y7MK039BZxbyxCvbYfd%2Bf8wuCrn58Hn1X5WZU%2F80fauQA16SF%3Ai5SckJ037N6eoOBECrJpFY0QSHR8QkDD

I also use the below site

https://www.coincompare.co.uk/category/coins/gold

But again, they don't always pick up every dealer or offer, but between the two of them you've got a good chance of getting a good deal & you can always pick up some cracking deals from the TSF sales site ☺️

Bleyer have some cheap sovereigns advertised, however, not sure what you get for their own choice as their other sovereigns advertised are split into date runs etc. at a higher price, so I assume those have been sorted into better quality than the lucky dip?

Last Sovereign I received from Bleyer a few days ago was an Edward VII 1910 in good condition, but admittedly you take your chances with year, but I haven't been disappointed with the condition of any I've purchased from them, I'm a stacker & best value suits me just fine 🤗, I'm not bothered about date runs or specific years, just volume at the best price 😁

Local pawn shop today ranging from £480 to over £500!?🤔🚀

Will not be buying from this lot. Six months ago they had some good deals, now nothing.

Even worse, they do not have XRF scanner, so you will see many coins have been acid tested

Must say though, one of the places had a 2.5g gold bar only £4 more expensive than Atkinsons! I know Atkinsons are free postage, but nice to be able to walk out of a shop with something.🤔
