They hold a lot more than that I’m sure. Last time I saw a tv program not that long ago had someone visiting the mint and after they had been  patted down etc. they went through to where there were pallets full of gold bars

Which Mint was involved?

Are you sure it was about the British Royal Mint, or could it have been the Royal Canadian Mint?

I have never been "patted down" on any of my visits to the Royal Mint in London or in Llantrisant.
