Lovely Bar, I imagine this will be released around the end of August alongside the Ganeshotsav festival or perhaps Diwali?

I would have thought earlier, maybe the start of August so that people have time to buy it as a gift for the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.

Think I would prefer the 20g British Britannia bar equivalent, rather than an Indian God I'd never heard of until now!  - priced at £1039. 🐘

I think it will go down pretty well with the Indian community, which I guess it what it's aimed at. I think it is more interesting than a Britannia bar that looks the same every year, and might even be part of a series if it's following the existing Lakshmi bar - but then again, there will be a premium to pay.

Point taken! There are certainly enough Gods to create a series. Yes, it should go down well the Indian community - they love their gold. Could be a smart move by the RM …. I belong to the Metalor cast!  ‘Scuse the Pun!

The 2019 India Sovereign never sold out at the RM.  The 2018 India Sovereign did. 🙂
