I was expecting a little bit more

The value of modern silver medals is always on the speculative side.

Higher if you find a dedicated fan, I'd say GBP25 max, that would also include the VAT overhead. But it looks worn out, so maybe less. Stackers like GBP12 to 14, which would be the melt value (about 80% of spot price). Dealers maybe inbetween if they think they have another buyer.

Unless it's a deeply historical or highly collectible piece you'll always have silver spot price in the background. Which also means you can realize more if you wait for a while - silver's not at it's highest at the moment.

Hmm

Thank you for response

Coins like that, you should only buy when they are just released and when they are in a perfect condition.

Your coin looks not in a good condition so I think the best value you will get is spott price but probably less ...

Let's call it a beginners mistake, buying this coin, we all made them ...

Hello

I'm brand new here trying to stack/collect silver.

Hi, welcome.

I don't know how much you paid but thats a really nice vintage round.

My guess is £25-£50 for the coin (depending on its condition)  + £5 for the box + £10 for the paperwork (also depending on condition).

Nice little investment if you paid less than above.

Nice first pick up, keep stacking that vintage .999

you have an older piece of .999 than some other fellow stackers I know, well done :)
