Should be quite popular. I was going to buy some yesterday when they went on sale. By the time I got home and got kids ready etc, Apmex had upped the price by ~$2 so I left it. Just as cheap to buy from the EU now with the price increase but they are not cheap but should still prove popular because of the low mintage, reverse proof and Panda privy.

I'd call it frosted UNC, still got that awful bust of the queen and I'm sure milk to come.

Everywhere seems to have designated these maples as reverse proof.  Probably to add "prestige" to what would normally be cheapo bullion.  Milk spots is very likely but they are far less prone to them than the normal maples.  I quite like them but only have a few of the recent ones.  Can't justify spending so much on the older ones.

Can't beat a milky bust.... but I think Brenda is past all that palaver ;)

yeah it's a joke. Apmex describe as "reverse proof finish" in product details and "brilliant BU" in product specifications - all on the same page.

I suppose the  finish is a bit better than the standard maples.

and the RCM describe as reverse proof so that's all there is to it then. Nice marketting ploy, stick proof in the description but don't use proof standard blanks and dies! nice little earner at 50000 mintage and 8$ premium per coin.

Where can I pick up a few monkey privy kooks in the uk? Don't really trust eBay and I don't know of any websites that do them over here?

Not sure about the UK but I recommend EMK. https://www.emk.com/en-us/kookaburra-privy-mark-ibau0291602 Shipping is €9.95 for orders under €500.

If you don't have any luck, I do them for £17.50 + delivery.

Whats with the crazy premiums on the 1g pandas? £55 odd quid on coininvest for 1g .. Atkinsons is £71!? £72 for 1g or £121 for 3g

Major shortages on them. It's been confirmed that dealers must buy the Pandas in full sets but the 1 and 3g sell quicker so stock and pricing is completely skewed.

Ahh i see, thought there must be something to it. So for every 1g panda they want, China makes them buy one of each denonimination up to 30g?

Canadian Call of the Wild.

The gold is the 3rd and possibly the final coin in the series. Bullion coin in assay card but there's also a proof version.

Seems that they're going to do the series in silver too. The Puma is the first in the silver series.
