Not yet. I’m sorry. But anyone sane knows it’s over. Peace treaty soon. Stop the killing. It’s a shock if you listen to certain news I know. But even western news are dripping it in now. I don’t think it’s in doubt 🤷‍♂️

Western powers have combat tested their equipment ( in Israel too ) now and collected data on Russian equipment and tactics so will move towards the Ukrainians ceding territory for a peace deal. Ukraine can never match the expenditure of munitions and men that the Russians have. Germans couldn’t do it in ww2 so why could Ukraine now. I am in awe of their ingenuity but sadly I just don’t think they have the manpower.

They have already lost. It was never winnable. No matter how many Ukrainians the west were willing to sacrifice.

Groups of 90, 30 out at  time front line for 2 month tours, are seeing the likes of 60 killed, 30 severely wounded. Those returning to the front from leave at present are pretty much resigned that they're kissing their loved ones for the last time. Fewer drones, no artillery, too little ammo, heavily outnumbered. A deep feeling of having been betrayed by the US/Europe.

Fail to see that as a Ukrainian failure when there is still a ukraine 2 years on.

They have done well to lose the land they have, could have been much worse

There will be a west Ukraine, a demilitarised zone in the east. Dneipier  will be the border more or less.

Aaaahhh😉

The lack of artillery seems to be the common thing. The betrayal if ther si one lays in the US Congress.  But yes maybe the www III thread is better. To discuss. Gold and tv licenses price  only here !🤣

Spill over. US stocks are up a lot, selling some to buy bonds that are paying good real yields (4%+) ... and with all tanks filled - adding a portfolio hedge such as gold (given events in the middle east and Ukraine and ... many other places). The flight to safety (US dollar assets) will at some point turn, gold is a partial hedge against that.

Typical high net worth investors ($30M+) asset allocate something like a third in properties, a third in 60/40 stock/bond, a third 'other' ... bit coins, gold, managed futures ....etc. The same 'rebalancing' that drives a inflow into gold is inclined to also drive other 'other' asset prices higher. Gold is up, BTC is up, WTMF is up ...etc.

With a collapsed Ukraine Russia wont settle for a 'negotiated settlement' anything short of total surrender of all of Ukraine. NATO has highlighted its extreme weakness. Rainbow warriors against hardcore Russian soldiers, and where each NATO member state gets to define what contribution or not they may make, which for some may be none or just a vocal UN statement of support for ... whatever. With US and UK elections in the pipeline Putin may have every intent to push further, recover former USSR states out of the EU. His entire economy is on a war footing and Russia has always matched US hardware at just a fraction of the costs, less technical, made up and more by numbers.
