They've given you my tracking number. The personal details are a relative of mine.

I have a total chain of evidence including a paypal receipt, eBay order confirmation and a BBP dispatch notice as well as the money withdrawn from my bank account. It was dispatched on the 22nd and arrived on the 24th (I posted in this thread when I bought it).I suggest you check with BBP to get your ACTUAL order code. Delete the personal info.

I've also sent them a scathing PM on eBay.

Thanks Ares, I'll contact BBP through Ebay and get them to give me the correct tracking code.

So they don't use RM special delivery then?

Is it parcelforce 'cos their drivers are a shambles. I've lost count of the number of parcels I've had that have been doorstepped and some scrawl put in for an alleged signature. I'm still waiting on the settlement of one from May that the driver seems to have "lost". The reason for the delay is that it's from Germany and DHL are a shower when it comes to these things apparently. In this case, parcelforce have told me they've admitted liability but it's DHL that has to pay out the comp!

UPS are the couriers I have a major issue with.  I once paid a supplier to use UPS as they offer 'secure' delivery.  Come the delivery day they attempted delivery when nobody was home, and they should have taken the package back to their base (fair enough).  Instead they placed £1200 worth of silver in a recycling box at the end of the drive; and it was re-cycling day.

Luckily I came home and retrieved it in time, but 45 minutes later the council came and emptied the bin the package was in.

Checking the package tracking it showed that we had signed for it.  So if I had have come home a little later, the council truck would have taken the silver away, and we'd have to prove we didn't receive it; even though their system showed we had signed for it.

Cheers, Keith

Right BBP have come back today with different code that says it was delivered from my postal delivery office and a my printed name, I have checked and all it says is it was delivered from the chester post office with my surname.  I will check tomorrow what address it was sent to.  How will I now get my money back now the Postman has taken the parcel to the wrong address and someone else has signed for it.  May I say the signature looks like a scribble and nothing like mine.

Ask yourself this I have been buying Gold and Silver for years and this is the first time I myself have had problems with the delivery service so why would I lie.  My wife has had problems with other goods in the past.

No, you don't deserve this.

The problem is with the courier/postie isn't it?

The system is flawed. The delivery requires a signature, but there is never a check on the ID of the signatory. I've seen these scanned sigs and I can't even recognise my own.

I wonder if BBP will support you. I believe they sent it, don't they want customer satisfaction?

Another problem..the postie doesn't know your signature and has no reference to check against. You could sign Mickey Mouse and he'd accept it.

They don't seem to be supporting me at the moment just a 'theres is the signature if that helps'.

If they don't help me I will never buy from them again and do my best to let everyone one else know the truth.

When all is said and done its theft, I will ring  the post office up tomorrow just to check that BBP have sent it to the correct address,  Then I will try to speak to the Post Master.

Just to let everyone Know do not buy unless you know when the delivery is then record the front door up to the said time as proof on your cctv.

Wrong address, their fault, you are covered.

Speak to your neighbours though. I had one package they got a neighbour to sign for , no note for me, and neighbour annoyed that I never came to collect.

Currently stacking 1/4 oz (22ct) and Sovs.

Ares, BBP should of given you a full apology.

I have told the misses who has hit the f-ckin roof.

Just asking were the coins sent out sign for or special delivery. As BBP will not say.

The surname can be taken off the parcel!

Why the f-ck would bullion by post send gold out only sign for? Well we now know, its because they don't stand any losses like a decent company would if anything goes wrong.

I don't know about the royal mail, but the parcelforce drivers have GPS locators on their scanners. When my alleged delivery took place, the driver was parked outside my immediate neighbour's house. I know he wouldn't have been at home as he runs a garage business and is never at home during the day. I was at work 30 miles away. He put my surname onto the delivery note and some scrawl of a "signature" that a child would be ashamed of. They interviewed him a couple  of times and he changed his story each time. No idea if he still has a job but they admitted liability in the end.

Got a message from BBP saying to escalate the matter so they can investigate it, but I cannot escalate it until 4/11 I can get Ebay to look at it, but BBP should of looked at this anyway.  What do you guys think at this point should I ask ebay to look at it.  Ebay will just find in BBP favour as the scribble is their proof.

Have you told them that the reason they sold so many best price sovs that day is because it was an organised group buy and that you are in contact with the other buyers?  You have proof from other buyers how they posted out the coins and when they arrived.

Because they are a large seller I'd like to think they will sort this out.  I'm also still waiting on the other coin.
