I think you'll find all the Queen's beasts date from the medieval times. They are not recent. They stand guardian to the monarch and can be seen as statues at Hampton Court. Quite a lot of history attached to them.

I expect to 10 oz Bull to be available in April (pre-order at the end of March). The 10 oz Falcon should follow 6 months later. So probabably in October 2018.

Interesting design.  Shield looks razor sharp and the beast looks like it's made of metal with fangs a saber tooth tiger would be happy with.  Quite bad ass, I like it.

Sadly the design will probably be no where as cool as that heraldic representation of the Yale. In my opinion, The Queen’s Beasts designs have been toned down from what their true heraldry designs could/should be. I have a feeling The Royal Mint will do justice on their interpretation of the design. I can at least have some faith in this...but, then again, I am usually wrong.
