  1. I've removed your email address. Any members can contact you via PM. If you have some to sell you can list them here for sale on the forum in the selling/buying section. Here's a link to the quick start guide. https://www.thesilverforum.com/forum/13-united-kingdom-ungraded/
  2. @TTR I've moved your thread to the new member section. You may wish to look around and familiarise yourself with the forum sections and format. We have a selling section for selling/buying etc. If you have scrap silver to sell you can list it there but please read the quick start guide. We also have a precious metals section which includes a silver sub section where you can start discussion threads if you are unable to find answers and info using the search function.
  3. Searching around for stuff a few days ago and remembered seeing it somewhere. https://www.silbertresor.de/product_info.php?info=p9378_Goldbarren---Scottsdale-Archangel-Michael-Certi-LOCK---1-Oz-Gold.html 4-6 week lead time.
  4. I said I wasn't going to buy any more gold but I have two problems: 1) I don't have a 1oz from St. Helena so had to get one. There's going to be six in the series but I just need the one so won't be buying the others. 2) Being on here is giving me the buying bug. I've already been eyeing up items but nearly all aren't available in the UK. Buying from the EU is a bit more hassle these days because if the courier company adds on import charges I'd have to fix the declaration or if it's already gone through I'd have to claim it back from HMRC. UPS is easy enough. Fedex is a nightmare. DHL I have no experience with.
  5. You will need to add the pics. Also, probably best to use default font size.
  6. Welcome to the forum. Moved to the new member section since your post does not contain a discussion.
  7. If you're buying things outside of Europe you should be looking at a foreign currency fee free card. If not, then typical credit cards will add a 2.95% handling fee. Anything you buy over £100 should be covered under the consumer credit act. In an ideal world you should have 2 credit cards. One cashback and one foreign fee free. Use the foreign fee free exclusively for purchases outside of the UK and in the case where there's an option to pay in GBP or local currency, always select local currency as that will give you the best exchange rate since the conversion will be done by the card rather than a 3rd party. The cashback card should be used for your everyday spending in the UK. Do you know your credit score? There are many factors which are used to build up a credit score and having active credit facilities with minimal/zero balances should help boost it. No harm in building up a higher credit score if it isn't costing you anything. The most important thing is to pay off the balance each month otherwise you will incur charges and never take cash out of the cash machine with one. Unless of course it's an absolute emergency.
  8. I use credit cards for absolutely everything and pay it off each month. There are two reasons for doing so: 1) I get credit consumer protection (section 75). I've only ever used it twice and the most recent time was almost 2 years ago. I ordered a lot of stuff from John Lewis and it shipped in 10 parcels over a weekend. I only ended up receiving 8 of them on the Monday and tracking was showing these missing parcels as delivered and some of the parcels that were delivered as being undelivered. Contacted JL and a few days later after investigation and them contacting DHL they were told me they were delivered and weren't going to refund or replace them. Not sure how they came to that conclusion when tracking clearly showed some were still undelivered. Contacted Amex and told them the story. One minute on hold and they refunded me the undelivered amount. Luckily I've only had to use it twice but there's no point using a debit card when a credit card will do the same job and offer more protection. 2) Cashback. Only a few bullion dealers actually accept credit cards as payment but when they do it brings the cost down by 0.5% for me. Not a lot but on a £1k gold coin it's £5. I use two cards for UK purchases. A visa which offers 0.5% and Amex which is tiered from 0.5% to 1%. I will use Amex where I can but for those places that don't accept Amex I use the Visa. I put all business and personal purchases though them. My year end was last month on the Amex and I got £800+ cashback. Visa is currently sitting at £34.35. At the end of the end it's free money for using a card for purchases which I would either pay cash or use a debit card on. Makes no sense for me to withdraw cash to spend nor does it make sense for me to have funds sitting in an account waiting to be spent. All my bank accounts have minimal balances, just enough to cover monthly direct debits etc and the rest goes into a savings account. When the credit card bill comes I transfer the required amount back to my bank account and then pay off the card. That way I earn an extra 0.4% pa by using the interest free period on the cards. If you're new to credit cards it's a good way of building up a good credit rating and earning free money.
  9. I think they are still minting the coin but they can't keep up with current demand for bullion so we'll see it coming in and out of stock with dealers for a while. They'll be minting in batches in rotation with the other coins. I've just ordered a second one while Atkinsons has stock.
  10. Yesterday I wasted 2 hours making 2 round trips to pickup and drop back off my QBs from storage. Up until a few weeks ago I thought my QB collection was complete until they decided to release a completer coin. I picked one up as well as a compass cutter. I have a box specifically for the QBs and it only allowed for 10 coins so I was going to cut a new hole for the completer. I get home all ready to start work and then find out there isn't room in the middle. If I was to put it in I would have to have it off centre and that would look odd. Decided to cut 2 holes to make it symmetrical and will have 2 completers in there. And now I've just noticed that I've put the 1/4 Yale and Falcon back into the wrong slots. I'll have to remember to fix that when I drop off the other completer.
  11. More or less. Stopped back in 2018 and only continued with the QBs. Time for me to start building my SIPP and other investments.
  12. Last year I wound everything down with the final purchases of the QBs gold bullions. Then recently the QB completer came out so had to grab that as well and that should have been the end. But...there was one coin which I should have picked up years ago but there was always something else to buy so I'd always put it off for another day. Over the bank holiday weekend I decided to make one final purchase and here it is. I already have the 2, 2.5, 5, 10 and 20 but just needed this to finish off the set. Unlike it's little brothers which are stored away and haven't been seen for years, this beast is going to be my fondling piece which will sit at my desk. Hopefully the .900 alloy will hold up well otherwise it'll end up getting a bit dinged and scuffed.
  13. Welcome to the forum. Moved your 1st post to the new members introduction section.
  14. I have removed your video link. If you wish to upload videos, please use the video section.
  15. Welcome to the forum. I created a new thread for you.
  16. Couple of reasons. A22s DF are not popular with people preferring the T22 ringed. I sell genuine Air-tite capsules just to help people get them in the UK at a reasonable cost. The profit vs the outlay to stock a full range isn't actually viable at the prices I charge and after 5 years I am yet to get back my investment. At the moment I am winding down stocks to get back my investment. 5 X A22 DF from me would cost £2.75 (55p each) for the caps and then £1 2nd class postage and £1.35 1st class postage.
  17. Sorry but I do not have any stock of the A22 direct fits and will not be restocking them.
