Good idea getting your parents into gold as a retirement plan. My dad hasn't got much in the way of a retirement fund and he's been retired 5 years now. Yesterday I gave him a full sovereign and told him to cash it in whenever he feels like it. His first ever gold coin so he doesn't want to part with it but it's there if he needs it.

Some more 10ps finally arriving. Also my bit from the group order  Also today my Mum and dads first sovereign arrived as I have finally convinced them to save a little in sovereigns for retirement.

I got a nice by-catch: Bullion Sovereigns 2000 and 2010 for bullion prices. Both are from the time well before I started collecting.
Now I stand at 125 sovereigns, and my bank safe starts spilling over... I will have to throw out all those pretty boxes.

Another addition to my alternative sovereign design collection this one is a bit of a mouthful
23.5ct 1965 Isle of Man gold sovereign coin bicentenary of the revervsement act.  
 
Great design and Been older got a much nicer pic of the queen.

A few gold 1/4 oz Lunar 1 , but now have to look for rest of series. If anyone got them please PM.

1880-S Inverted A for V Sovereign

A stunning quality dragon. With all the shortcomings at the Royal Mint, this one is definitely worth its PF70. The picture actually doesn't do it justice. Thanks @Skelator88

1902 3p not sure if it is a Matt proof as it has a nice satin sheen that I can't quite get in the picture.
Been to SA and found this 1742 1/2p in a flea market. Cost me £8 so can't complain.
A QB Bull. Thought there was a double stamp at first but it is just so bloody shiny LOL
A wedge tailed eagle to go with my others.
Won some SA old silver at the last DNW auction, 1x 6p and 5x 2/5 shillings. Not sure if any are worth grading so thoughts are welcome.
Lastly a 1/20 gold dog bought in Dubai airport during a transfer. It was bought using my daughters 1st birthday money and every year from now on we will get another with her money so when she becomes 18 she will have a nice pile of the shiny stuff.
 

Many great things: 1kg Metalor bars and a 10oz JM bar in gem mint condition from @arshimo2012.
Then @Numistacker sent me my coins from NCS (pre Heritage grading submission). The Prussian Jubilee Marks came with great grades but my favourite today is this little 1/4 oz Britannia, which is one of only four in this grade PF70 UC
 

Received today from numistacker. Surprised and delighted at the grades. great advice about NCS conservation, it was well worth it. Big thanks to numistacker.

My 2002 shield half sovereign arrived today. I won the bidding on eBay for this at £125. Part of me wants to take it out of the envelope and put it in a capsule but I suppose in the long run it would be worth more left as it is.
