  1. Just for those who may have wanted to buy those coins I mentioned above, they are still available as we were not able to finalise a deal.
  2. Please can I buy: Quarter Sovereign - Carded 2024 - £115. 1/40th Britannia 2014 Loose - £65. Panda 1/20th 2002 - £95
  3. They applied their usual consistent messaging. Treated me per their terms and conditions and everyone else had open conversations. Ha! All good here. It was a crazy move to put the offer in anyway. I only wanted the quarter sovereign! Was going to grade and sell the rest. I know, I know. Sacrilege. How are you? All good? You offered some good prices on the graded coins. Hope that all sold.
  4. I didn’t even get the ‘up your bid, mate’ email. Not a peep….!!!
  5. Yes, it would be interesting. I placed a bid and have not heard anything at all from them. Not a peep……
  6. I have two available halves. Both recent grades with PCGS. One is MS69 and the other MS68. Was going to consign to auction but happy to sell. Sorry I don’t have a full available at the moment.
  7. It’s allowed and deserved.
  8. I have also just submitted an 1828 w/o tuft half sovereign to PCGS for grading. The date was double stamped with some falling away from the coin. I took a picture before I sent it but for the life of me I cannot find it. Will look again later and upload if I find it. Otherwise, will update when the grading results are back. Should be in around 20 working days as I sent with a batch for express service. Cheers. EDIT. Just found image!!!
  9. Yes, it is the fourth, with three higher! Not a bad coin. Here are the true view images:
  10. How does ‘right click “copy”, right click “paste”’ hurt your fingers? Joking aside, I read up to about No.6 and decided to keep investing. Blood on the streets and all that. Will read the rest later!!
  11. Just an update. The person who bought this contacted me to ask for help with grading. I examined the coin and felt it was probably just about worth sending to PCGS. PCGS have just released the grades on that submission and this is recognised as the Roman 1 variety and it was graded as AU50. I think that is a fair result.
  12. Bloomin ‘eck. At least give it two minutes??
  13. I’ll take these. Can send cash in the morning, if ok? Cheers.
  14. Christ. Wonger’s prophecy looks like coming true. He did after all say £400 per gram, right?
  15. I don’t know! I hope so because I have contacted him to ask for payment details. I think he hasn’t checked in since he posted the advert!!
  16. Afternoon! Do you have any tubes left, please?
  17. I would be overjoyed to discuss this with you. Shout if you need help. A FOIA request is fairly straightforward. You just have to be careful to make the requests specific and try to avoid falling into the trap of requesting something that they will just say is commercially sensitive or too expensive to respond to. The exemptions under the DPA are clear so also easy to tackle in advance.
  18. Don’t forget that the RM is owned by the Treasury! Maybe you should be approaching the Chancellor as ultimately he is in charge. Pretty significant profits suggest that they are selling their tat at inflamed prices without any worries/concern: https://www.royalmint.com/aboutus/press-centre/the-royal-mint-announce-17.7million-operating-profit-as-it-forges-new-future-in-sustainable-precious-metals/#:~:text=sustainable precious metals-,The Royal Mint Announce £17.7million Operating Profit as,future in sustainable precious metals&text=Strong demand for precious metals, ending 31st March 2023.
