  1. That’s awful. If it is any consolation my account manager has changed about three times in the past few months. The last one ignored my emails and the new one is offering me items that I have never previously expressed an interest in. Sales rather than collector support. Poor, very poor.
  2. Send them to NGC and you will get a 70* - those clowns would grade a chocolate coin 70 if sent one in.
  3. Thanks. Not for me, but I appreciate the quick response.
  4. What are the dates of the four halves, please? I will potentially take all four.
  5. Mainly 1947 but I have a few 1935. Would sell at spot plus 5% plus postage, if interested. I appreciate that you may (probably will!) get a better price elsewhere! Given where gold is going I would only sell at the 5% above level.
  6. I have some 20 Franc coins. What is the spot on them at the moment? Maybe we can work something out.
  7. Re BYBs comment re CGT, I do not think this is an issue. Even with gold continuing to rise, the price of these bars probably means you are not going to have a tax bill. That’s the great thing about investing in bars like this.
  8. Just had a look at the website where this is listed. £74.70. It has sold out, so I guess there is interest…unless that is part of the marketing. Speaking of which, the marketing does not feel accurate. The gold bar is made in Germany. What is the connect with Oxford Mint if the item is made by Liepziger Edelmetallverarbeitung?
  9. All comes down to price for me. What is the pricing structure for these? Not interested unless close to spot. In my view premiums would not be justified.
  10. Do you have the certificates for the BYB bars?
  11. I’ll take the 2005 if still available and there is something else to make the costs sweeter given the post costs? PM if so!
  12. Wonger is selling these for 40p each.
  13. Or a group of high grade half sovereigns…
  14. The mint sell them for £99.50 which is £3,980 an ounce. Given where gold is going the mint are likely to raise the price of these to over £110 soon. Imagine!!!
  15. No. Dont even talk about the GMT here. Take its name out of your mouth now.
  16. Joking aside, they already do this with the 1/40oz coin!!! They just don’t bother with the magnifying glass.
  17. You lot are CRAZY! Haha!! Too much silver….makes you mad.
  18. Yep, a mixture. But let’s speak separately. PM is better. Message me when ready to buy, but also keep an eye on sales pages as others are likely to offer better prices (depending on the gold price and what you are looking for) as I’m not a dealer.
  19. Maybe best to wait till ready to buy. Given the movement I am not sure anyone would lock in a price today.
  20. As things stand, I have a little dachshund who had three teeth removed last year and sticks his tongue out when he sleeps (it’s true - broke one tooth on a plastic bone and the vet gave me a telling off about his dental hygiene and said he needed to have a few removed - the shame) and I don’t think they give shotgun licenses to people who live in flats in a city centre…nice thought though.
  21. I used to have a lot of silver but gradually sold it as I felt less comfortable having it at home. As I sold it I bought more and more gold and then opened a safe box. Most of my available fluid money is now in gold because practically it’s easier to store and also easier to move. I do not have an opinion on this issue because as long as people are buying into precious metals for either their coin collecting hobby or to make money/pension then it’s fine with me. If I had a large vault I would have monster boxes of silver because I think it makes sense. I don’t, and only have a safety deposit box that stored the raw and graded coins so space is a premium. If I have £2k to spent then I have room for more gold, and I would not be able to fit in kilo bars or tubes of silver. I do not feel superior to silver stackers. Quite the opposite. I am envious of their ability to find a safe space to store it all!!!
  22. I do have a PCGS MS66 1922 Swiss 20 available. But the price is around £525.00. Probably not what you are looking for? If it is, let me know and I can send details.
  23. Afternoon, HGM have some 20F coins at your price: https://www.hattongardenmetals.com/swiss-gold-franc
  24. Someone bought gold. Someone sold gold. Someone mentioned silver and got shouted at.
