Good time to buy today,it always needs a breather...make $1 an ounce...might not see that happen again...back up the trucks people.

Dont start down that slippery slope... my lad Edward, i told him there were coins with his name on them, so he then gets all interested and wants some which was sweet. I get him a Griffin of Edward coin and he is over the moon, but then asks "can you get me the one with the King Edward on it next time?" ... "you mean a sovereign".... "yeah the gold one, thanks!" 🤦‍♂️

That's because some of the gains in Pounds is from the fall of the Pound and not the rise of the Dollar.

Compared to previous highs in silver this 18.50 is nothing, its jumping so quick because the market knows it too...so e presume is there to keep it down, market manipulation is rife as we can see often just looking at the live trading charts...China doesn't want to pay $40 and neither does Russia, no buyer does, so they phantom trade or sell in one lump sum to drive the price down then buy back in smaller amounts to get that lump sum back over time, which longer time in trading circles can be an hour compared to selling in a millisecond, add that to phantom trades where they promos to sell then cancel it before it goes through and your massaging the figures, it's illegal here but who is going to prosecute a company in China and Russia who don't give a hoot?.

I knew a guy who owned a large house, he got it as I heritage but couldn't upkeep it,it was just too big, he sold it almost I medial and bought three houses, one for him, the smallest and two other she rented out, he got an income from them but ofcourse had to pay taxes on that, buy he squirreled away a bit, here and there....he never made a claim for a pension...his reasoning was they'd tax it and want enough information from him that he didn't want to give them so he just kept this the way they were, I thought it was silly, he was leaving money on the table but he de idea making his own money was worth more then having the bastards looking over his shoulder every month.

I buy whichever is kn sale that day, might buy junk si.very or gold, might buy coins, not generics but bullion, right now silver has the higher potential for short term, gold sill level off at 1560 to 1575 and could stay there for months, silver is a get rich or get poor quickly scheme...as long as you only using money you didn't need then a rise or drop isn't that big a deal, the general rise or fall matters more.
If you aren't stealing from your pension or your needs money then have at it...finding deals makes for more fun, especially if your wanting to slow down your purchases....or need a change.

This is why so many people never end up rich, they panic too easily, the rich end up richer because they can afford the drops, they can still eat and pay the bills, if a billionaire loses 3 billions but still has one billion left they are still ok, if a working stiff drops $500 they are panic stricken, not many working people bought silver at $4 and sold at $45 because the downside was unthinkable...they were investing what they couldn't afford to lose...others held onto their money but so e of those people bought at $4 and held onto to it till it reached $50  and still have it today as they were terrified to sell incase it went to $100 and their one shot at being rich they gave up on....it's subconscious that kills the profit. . none,of us know what we'll do u til it happens to use,I watched my gold shoot to th moon and come back down again,I wasn't ready to sell and still aren't, it's a case of get rich or die trying.

Wasn't sure, being a detectorist you can never be sure.

Was on about cat coverters but yes, I went there when I was getting my fiance visa back in 03...watched Chitty Chitty bang bang..even got a nice seat...almost empty isle, then found out why, when they shot,the balloon down the glitter fell from the ceiling...all over me..I was covered and leaving glitter where I went for,the next three days...lol.

Almost my full silver, except the sun,moon, earth, apollo and a few historical coins I couldn't carry..lol.
