Baffles me that they release something very new with limited Mintage but have no stock. Why not wait a few weeks and keep customers happy.

I ordered the 2oz and 5 oz silver only. I don't know if this will be a winner or a flop but this gamble was reasonnable for me and the 5 oz will be probably stunning in hand (hopefully the RM has solved the technical issues of the Petition Crown 
I skipped the last PC gold and this one too,  but I reconfort myself being the happy owner of the whole W.Wyon GE series in 2oz gold   

This is the RM’s prestige series. They have rectified with mintages this time around. They aren’t going to kill this series. There are numerous other iconic coins they can do that would be appealing to majority of collectors worldwide who’ll never be able to afford the originals.

It's been a while since I've had a fun morning with the RM and following the 'hot thread' on here. We'll see what turns up and how many times it has to go back. I got through straight away on my main browser, but saw 812 on my other. Those days of being 35k in the queue are long gone it seems.

I picked up a Charles coronation 2oz gold regular proof ungraded for £4300 that's a grand and bit below RRP and will go lovely with my Matt 2oz gold I bought at launch.
It's a buyers market 100% at the mo currently on big stuff £a few thousand plus 
if you can can find the right 'motivated seller' win-win 
Now COVID free funny money, bounce back loans and furlough ain't expanding the balloon 🎈 bubble.

G&D design is not in the least bit rare plus RRP price, cost of living, near ATH gold prices, last GE launch being luke warm at best.

I agree I love my 1oz I had my eye on an MS70 Panda being virtually given away in the ungraded section unsurprisingly the OP has withdrawn as have I. I would rather keep them to be honest

Welcome to the club.
I've been tempted so many times (especially on TSF) to jump into the proof game seriously but always hold back. Bullion is the way forward as an alternative savings method and long term investment to keep out of the "system". I, too, do this for my children and want an easy access out for them when they need to liquidate. Sometimes temptations and excitement can get the best of us in this beautiful hobby/passion but one must always try and stay focused on the end goal. Thanks for sharing @Organics
