I've contacted the Fraud Action team (for all the good that will do!) and will call my bank tomorrow (apparently the fraud team only works 8am-8pm)
Will let you know of any updates. Am assuming its a foregone conclusion but guess i will know for sure once i've spoken to the bank

I remember buying on gumtree and the guy wanted a bank transfer I (for my own security) asked him if he’d take a cheque and when it cleared he can send me the goods, he agreed sent me his name and address once I had that I told him I’d changed my mind and sent the cash by bank transfer.
So I know whose door is getting kicked in if I’m ripped off 😎

Well, he sent me a pack of sweets instead my coins. The guy is on hold and I believe is going to by ban for good. He was member for around 1.5 year with some good trading feedbacks. Still wonder what was he strategy as he 'sold' the last three lots for total of £2.4k. Was it really worth it?

He did the same to @bestg77 me. However, I contacted the police and fraud team and after that my bank. To my surprise, my bank (which is Halifax) decided to transfer this money back after my call. So, it is also important how and by who you pay. Anyway, that was a good lesson with happy ending for me. Hope you guys get your money back.   

Another PCGS "graded goodie", PR69 for this beast of a Red Dragon... it felt like Christmas came early this morning!

A rather bashed double, but it ended up below spot by the time it arrived!

The feedback score is a tough one to be honest, there's a lot of great members on here who don't trade too much but are reliable, unfortunately they will have low feedback and in light of recent events, they will now be punished and assumed unreliable. 
I could easily throw out a number but feedback only tells half the story, would be easier for me to say 'send me a message with a sellers name and I will say yes or no' I've dealt with 90% of the regulars on here and can either vouch or advise to stay clear.

Unicorn and a 1933-'34 Papal 100 Lire (Pius XI). 

A long awaited solution for members to be able to filter trade listings by specific precious metals is here. 

Previously it was asked for Gold and Silver to be broken into separate sections, for ease of use and for members browsing it was important not to split up the trading sections too much. With some recent software improvements, as well as some custom development work in order for this to work with some other custom modifications we have to the trade section it is now possible to split these up into separate categories whilst also allowing all of the sections to be viewed at the same time.

This initial integration is only to the UK trade section, as this is the trade section with the most about of activity currently. 

New categories have been created for Gold and Silver for both Individual and Business sellers. When creating a trade topic in the trade section a member will be asked which section to post it in, either Gold, Silver, or General Precious Metals (for listings containing both precious metals or for other precious metals like platinum) there is also an option for Graded Only which is currently both for use by Business and individual sellers. 

It is possible to view ALL of these sub sections at once, and easily filter between the different sections using the filter box. This makes for a very easy and pleasant frictionless browsing experience. 

When going to the UK Trade section page here https://www.thesilverforum.com/forum/115-united-kingdom-one-page/  you will see the filter on the right sidebar (when on desktop)
