A few people here have posted comments about buyers being “idiots”.
Personally I am uncomfortable with this.
I created the thread to highlight sellers who are “binlords”, of which there are many.
Buyers, in many instances simply don’t know what a genuine coin is, or expect eBay to protect them.
The idiot and villain is the seller of counterfeit goods.

I pulled the trigger on the same set a couple of years ago. I then got BYB to add a 40oz behemoth to the collection. They are simply lovely pieces

The gold Forth Bridge is an excellent example of, in my outrageously biased opinion, an extremely underrated RM series. I particularly like the use of railway track as a perimeter design Only 2.618 of the maximum 5,000 were ever issued. Although there was a gold proof Three Lions £1 issued as part of the gold Millennium set, this was the first au "round pound" ever issued as an individual coin. With a spot value of £1,091 this is a splendid chance to get hold of what is potentially a beautiful gold "sleeper". Good luck with this auction @Earthmetal.
