Wet day in Perth today and so dropped into the mint and bought the new 1oz silver bird of paradise coin. See photos below. Took a look at the gold version which is much nicer but will give that one a miss for now (the gold have a 5,000 mintage and so will be available for a while yet).

1989 MS69 Panda - bought very cheaply as apparently milk spotted, but I’m struggling to see them. It they’re present, they’re hardly worth worrying about. ?
 

Today I received a 1/4 ounce Gold Britannia. Just steadily adding to the very modest stack, not very interesting you might think.
But the journey DHL managed to send it on is the real story...longest route from Bristol to Cambridge ever?

I guess most coins like this are melted down, but I find it interesting nonetheless.
Engraving reads "mother to george 1856", no mounts or anything so not sure what the purpose of it would have been?

1917 Thailand 1 Bath (point of entry into WW I)

2014 5 oz Libertad.

Received this 2017 strike on the day BU sovereign purchased from a US seller on eBay. Have another one which was just graded PR69DCAM by PCGS (was rated as a PR coin although it's a BU coin) and so will have another go with this one and hope for the elusive 70 grading.  

Picked up the 2018 1oz gold and 1oz silver Swan BU coins from the Perth Mint today. I hope the photos are OK as it nighttime here in Perth.

Received these yesterday.  Got them for a good price.  I’m starting to really like the Indian heads ?.

A Perth Mint 99.93 oz silver bar, not a nice round 100oz those with obsessive compulsive disorder need not apply
