FriedrichVonHayek reacted to Stuntman in Ten Coronation of KCIII 1oz silver coins with struck-through errors! What would you do?
I think that if, say, the 1oz Coronation bullion coin range was sold at the same price as bog-standard 1 oz Britannias - then fair enough, accept the coins as one unit of bullion.  But they are priced at a fairly significant premium versus a bog-standard Britannia because of their limited mintages and their one-off design.
It's a tricky one.  I also haven't returned a bullion coin that I've purchased new from a dealer or the RM (apart from one instance with the RM when the coin was completely jammed in its capsule and I couldn't get it out without risking damage to the coin.  Took more than 3 months to get a replacement and I had to chase them up several times...).
Basically I tend to accept it as luck of the draw.  Thankfully, most of what I have received has been acceptable.

Can't reduce further as I'm only making a slender profit.

As we know, low interest rates are not good for an economy as they encourage too many trash zombie companies and cocky chancers. It's unfair competition for legit, decent grafters who've worked hard to build up a business. And it means that customers receive a higher risk of poor quality goods and services.
But I can't help think that when it hits the fan, they'll just crash rates down again. It will be the only way to get the economy back up and running. Japan has had practically zero rates for decades and decades. God knows how they've got away with it (it probably helps that they're polite, hard working people and not rent-a-sparkle social media whores - nor do they create Tik Toks that encourage stealing).
We all know that low rates are not sustainable for a good econony. But if we crash hard, I just feel that will be their answer (especially if a general election is due).
Perhaps this time, they have learned (insert sarcastic laugh here) and they edge rates back up a little quicker than they did with the ridiculous post-covid free ride. So, hopefully, they will sustain a little more realistically higher long term. But, sadly, they will want the social media show-offs to distract people and encourage them to buy more c**p (on low cost finance) to get the economy up and running again because they want our taxes and they don't care how. Repulsive isn't it!

Look up the book "war is a racket" by most decorated of his time Major General Smedley Butler (July 30, 1881 – June 21, 1940), nicknamed the Maverick Marine, was a senior United States Marine Corps officer. During his 34-year career, he fought in the Philippine–American War, the Boxer Rebellion, the Mexican Revolution, and World War I.

At the time of his death, Butler was the most decorated Marine in U.S. history.
By the end of his career, Butler had received sixteen medals, including five for heroism; he is the only Marine to be awarded the Brevet Medal as well as two Medals of Honor, all for separate actions.

From his experiences below are some of his conclusions on life, society and world geopolitics

" I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902-1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents.
A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small "inside" group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes.
WAR is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives. "
Add these to reading " confessions of an economic hitman" by ex IMF/world bank gopher John Perkins in more recent times and you'll see nothing has really changed

In your article, you describe Nigel Farage as "unpopular" but I think it's worth pointing out and correcting you slightly that he is also hugely popular with the majority of people in England, Wales and Northern Ireland (not so much Scotland) who voted (in majority) to leave the EU. He is also a regular presenter on GBnews and just recently won the peoples vote for the TRIC awards (Television and Radio Industries Club) where he won the best presenter on TV award. So he's only really unpopular depending on who you ask. And not as unpopular as some like to think or make out.

If you ask the BBC/Skynews and or people in London/west minister bubble what they think of him, you will probably get a negative response, but if you ask the majority of the British people as a whole, I think you would find much more positive feedback.
