Received my 2017  BU struck on the day Sovereign from Chards , thanks Lizzie .

The ultra rare 1/10oz gold 2017 libertad - this could be the coin of the year.

Back from grading from NGC and 70s across the board.
2002 Jubilee £25 and 1/4 Platinum Koala were just loose coins in caps so thought I'd might as well neaten them up.  I hadn't noticed the Eagle privy on the Koala until I saw the label.  The £25 is same the same spec as a sovereign.
2000 Isle Man and Gibraltar coins were bough close to spot and are 1/5 oz each.  Not really my cup of tea but it was something different and a good size and price.  Minted by The Royal Mint and came boxed with COA but took up a lot of room.
2010 Piedfort Maples came boxed and again too up quite a bit of space.  The gold is the main coin but thought I might as well get the silver done as well and keep them as a pair.
2017 Chinese Rooster Medal.  Came boxed etc and is a keeper so thought I'd slab it to make for better viewing.
2017 Rwanda Rooster.  Only 100 minted so might as well.  If it had been normal high volume minted bullion I wouldn't have bothered.  Well happy to get a 70 with this one with it being such an expensive coin in the first place.
2016 & 2017 1/4 Korean Tigers.  Boxed with COA etc and are keepers so slabbed to reduce space and make for easier viewing and storage.

Im going to start sticking with Perth Mint for my collecting. RCM has killed trying to get other stuff. Ordered my first QB (2) each and both my dragons has Milk spots, got g he 1.5oz Arctic Foxs and all had spots, Somali Elephants look pretty good but couple had tiny spotting, but with perth mint everthing usually looks flawless!

Today I bought the complete 100gm size pamp lunar series.

There is a method in my madness, only time will tell, I have enough gold and silver to cover me, but not enough crypto, I am covering what I am doing with my Bitcoin which I paid £660 for pus I have 1 free Bitcoin Cash.
If the Crypto's rocket I buy more gold and silver, if not I am ok.
Life is not just keeping for ones self, I see the joy I bring makes me happy makes me feel free, giving back has its place some might say I aim stupid but to each his own
I can't take it with me, if I can help some so be it

Collected my coin from BYBs group order from the post office this morning. My first ever 10 oz coin and a nice momento/reminder of lovely family vacations in Vancouver and Toronto recently.

No milk spots so far [emoji41] although I'm not too concerned; I Wanted to add 10 oz and this appeals much more than a plan silver bar.

Got one these a few days and its arrived today. Its a 2017 SOTD gold sovereign i snatched for £390, yes that is not a typo, £390  . Enjoy the pics. Its my first full sovereign also

Also received the India sovereign. I have been collecting these for a while and this is the first one I have received split from its box and COA.

Wow...that was quick shipping!  Off to NGC tomorrow.  This little beauty has the potential to grade well...we'll see.

Also received the India sovereign. I have been collecting these for a while and this is the first one I have received split from its box and COA.

This one is coming home with me too. Finally get to see what I ordered in the flesh from the ever reliable @arshimo2012 a couple of months ago and at a wee discount from the RM price to go with the 3 coin premium set, sotd and piedfort.

Boom!  Just picked up one of the 300 mintage 2017 1/10 oz Gold BU Libertads...¡Arriba, arriba!

Big thanks to the numismatic insider better known as @Numistacker for bringing these fractional rarities to our attention.  

For me its not the value don't get me wrong I do take it into consideration. But some things I buy because I like them. I do like my collection to have there original boxes. That's why Ive ordered one from India.
It is a bit naughty removing the contents from its packaging and charging £19 to get the original COA.

To be fair it was very good price not much more than a normal sovereign and a lot more on e bay still think it was a very good deal

It won't be too much of a deal with collectors of every variation of the 2017 sovereign but it's wrong that the boxes are removed only to be charged as an extra for what buyers have already paid for.

I bought a full and a half Indian sovereign last year from the Royal Mint and they never charged extra for the boxes. Makes you wonder what happened to the boxes of the ones this firm sold? Totally wrong that buyers have been ripped off!
