So, I got a very kind reply from emailing Anne Jessop and the website listings were shortly amended thereafter. 
 
I was contacted by the Head of Collector Services and a (hand)signed certificate was being issued from the mint, looks like they’re also now making an effort to make it right by sending the same thing to everyone who purchased a trial piece prior the updating of the listings. 

The generic “dear customer” letter was sent after the above and I’d already received my certificate.
@paulmerton you’ll need a binder to keep them all in! 😅

It definitely feels like doing the bare minimum to resolve the issue. However, thanks to Kurt for bothering to contact them, we at least a real signature and some additional provenance. Poor from the RM to begin with, but cheers to Kurt for following up on it.

Seriously though, it does make sense for gold to slump as higher for longer on the Fed base rate is on the agenda. But the likes of China are spending like crazy on gold and I don't think they're gonna stop which is keeping it high. Look at late last week, they (China) had bank hols. Price went down because they not buying. As soon as they got back to work, it's moving nicely again. 
Also, I read yesterday that Warren Buffet's company, Berkshire, is sat on $188 billion in cash because even he doesn't find any stocks "attractive" at the moment (he's a value investor, so that nods to stocks being over priced). He just sold 115 million Apple shares, despite in the past saying (many times) he "isn't in the business for trimming positions."
When the US unemployment finally ticks up (they can only fake that data for so long), the interest rates will come down, then the rocket officially fires up on gold. I have friends in recruitment (in different sectors) seeing a significant decrease in job openings. Some are giving up and leaving the industry. It's only a matter of time.

Markets are stupid but the CME has known cuts would be deferred for a while now.
At the end of 2023 and start of 2024 traders were expecting a cut on the 1st May. Every man and his dog was predicting the Fed would cut at least twice before the US election. The penultimate action saw those expectations deferred to November as the soonest month with a better than 60% chance of a rate cut.
The latest based on the news today is that the cuts will start in September due to the loosening of the job market and major corporations (like McDonald's) saying they can see the consumer slowdown amongst the lower and middle classes in their sales data. The joint mandate of the Fed is to keep inflation in range but also to strive for full employment (price stability and maximum employment)
