It’s definitely nail polish - they wear a lot of it in Blackpool 😎

Some people have dummy safes, fill it with a bit of cash, maybe a few ounces of silver, stuff you can afford to lose. Then have another safe well hidden with the good stuff in. Then if you're forced to open a safe, you can just open the rubbish one and let them think they have scored.

    Howdy all!
Been getting a few private messages about this so thought I would just make a quick post about schedules for 2024 releases.
Normally we would have the 1 oz bars ready by about this time of year - and to be fair they are all manufactured but I am going to be releasing them in June.
The reason for this is I am shifting how I work.
I am trying to get ALL production for our annual products done in the first half of this year. This allows me more time to focus on the delivery of the projects when they are done.
Shipping out all the bars to customers takes a lot of time and it often is all consuming.
So, for now I am working away creating all the forum products for 2024 based on the following scheule:
    Silver Forum Products
1 oz forum bars (250 mintage): Release June
100g forum bars (175 mintage): Release Late August
    1oz, 3oz and 5oz forum rounds (50, 75 & 25 mintages): Release November
    BYB annual products
1 oz BYB bars (100 mintage): Release June
100g BYB Bars (25 mintage): Release Late August
Interested in getting some of our products?
Just comment on this thread, or watch out for my future posts on the subject!

I wouldn't mind purchasing 1x 1 ounce bar (Forum bar) (I bought one last year, can't remember the number though, can dig the bar out if needed though)
Also I am interested in 1x of the 100g bar. (Forum bar)
They look like fine work as always.

    Thank you.

I was excited to see them on the dealers websites too, but looking at the price I cannot justify buying tubes. Looking at one online dealer who is selling a tube of 16 1/10th silver brits at £89.47 at the time of writing this post, which is about 48grams of silver, so at 63p a gram that is just over 30 quids worth of silver.  So that's nearly 60 quid lost. That is from the VAT as well of course. But for me the premiums are way too high.
I might buy a few coins just for my hobby of collecting coins, but as an investment it is a bad call. Just my thoughts on it.

I received that email too. Not very appealing is it.

Instead of  "ready to sell"? It should say "ready to get ripped off and give us free money"?   You'd think they might be a tad more generous, then perhaps more people might be willing to invest in metals more, but when they see loses like that I think it would probably put the vast majority of newbies off.
I can see the value in TSF for buying and selling, despite my moaning and groaning in a previous thread.

What a rip off, take 10oz bars for example, they are currently selling a 10oz Britannia bar for this

And are offering to buy it back for this.

That's £100 of a difference, £180 for a 10 oz bar was the price I was paying about a decade ago.

Just something about "building reputation" or trying to win a popularity contest for the sake of selling a few quids worth of silver now and again just rubs me the wrong way. That's fine, it's not for me. I want to sell on my terms and not basically just hope some random stranger on the internet is going to do the right thing just because he/she is in "the trusted ranks". But as I've stated a few times, I get why this situation exists and understand why you guys like it, and that's great for you. More power to you.
It's really not much of an issue for me anyway, I didn't join this forum to buy or sell, I originally just joined for conversation with like minded people on the subject of stacking and PM. And on that side of things I have found this place to be great, lots of knowledgeable and friendly people here.
